The latest issue of Runner's World (or as I like to call it - Lance Armstrong's World) has a review of cameras.
The one that they suggest to take on the run is the Olympus Stylus 790 SW. It had a lot of great features including the fact that it's water proof like as in pool water proof. Sweaty marathon hands won't hurt it. It is also drop proof from 5 feet and works in temps below freezing.
It is a 7.1 mp camera with a 3X zoom and 5X digital zoom. The runners world article quotes a $300 price tag but a quick search has it at B+H Photo for $225. Since my Canon SD whatever just broke because it was in my back pocket when I bent over (tight glutes must be
) I think I will give it a try with my rebate check. Just my part to help the economy!
