Hi everyone! Quick question... My DH and I will be headed to MK with DD 4 and DS 18months. We'd like to bring our digital camera (to share on-line when we get home), our 35 mm as it takes much better action shots that the digital, and our camcorder. This really doesn't seem to make much sense as it seems a real hassle to be lugging these on and off rides. We can't realistically leave them in the stroller basket, can we? We'd appreciate and advice. Thanks!

I wouldn't risk leaving cameras in the stroller bags. We tend to carry our video camera only a couple of days during the trip and leave it in our room on the other days. I bought a very slim case that our video camera fits into and I wear it over the shoulder/across the chest. If you and DH both wear belly bags you could each carry one of the other cameras and you would risk a great loss.

And dont forget the larger ziploc bags to put them in when youre on the water rides!

What kind of digital camrea do you have? Most of the ones now a days have a settings meant for action.

I have done the digital camera thing and was extremely disappointed in the quality of the pictures (just my camera I suppose) but If I am throwing my two cents in this is what I do. I go to walmart or grocery store and buy those disposable cameras (at some grocery stores they often go on sale bogo free) anyway the pictures on these camera's come out beautiful and you don't have to worry about bring it on a ride or getting lost because while you may not get the picture back you only loose what $8.00? Just a suggestion.

OH MY GOODNESS! I LOVE MY DIGITAL CAMERA! You just got a bad camera. With a digital camera it is possible to get the "perfect picture" every time! There's settings for water (so you get streams of water-really cool!), fireworks, night ,day, it's awesome! If you get a decent enough dig camera, mine was about $450 but it's now about $300 you can get great pictures. AND I'll take hundreds of pictures without worrying about the cost because I know that I'll only print out the ones I like at my local Walmart when I get home. I have a CANON digital elph. It's an awesome camera and it's smaller so it can easily fit in your pocket and be ready to pull out at any sign of "cuteness"

It's got to be my camera, because I litterally have to hold my breath before I take a pic otherwise its blurry. I did get it years ago for a christmas gift so I have no idea how much my parents paid, but maybe its time to upgrade. Although, I think I will still bring the disposable ones to the parks for the loosing/stealing/convience thing.

If it really takes that bad of pictures, which thankfully mine doesnt, than I wouldn't bother lugging it around. You can always get your regular prints put onto a disk later, or just scan them in. No point in carrying around several cameras.

I would *never* leave anything of value on a stroller. The whole time you're in line and on the ride you'll be freakin out about whether or not its getting stolen. Take all your valueables with you...

Just take a regular, dependable camera, or pick up some disposables. I find they take good pics =)
