Camera for Disney

Hi DISers! My family and I are going to WDW in December. The lights at night are absolutely amazing, and I want to be able to capture them with my camera. My current camera takes horrible pictures at night. It's always blurry and just really bad quality.

We would like to buy a new camera before our trip that will take good pictures at night. Anyone have any good recommendations for one?

HI! i'm guessing this will get moved to the photography board.

What mode are you shooting on at night? auto. manual? av? Flash on or Off? What kind of camera (point & shoot or DLSR)?

ETA: the answers to these questions may help answer if you need a new camera or maybe some new shooting tricks . Are you looking for a point & shoot or DSLR. Budget?
