Camelbacks in the parks?

For those that use camelbacks, forgive my ignorance, but did you have to wash out the bladder every night when you got back to the hotel? Or can you just wash the mouthpiece and let the rest dry? The camelback does sound great because I drink a lot of water, but I don't know if I will have the energy to wash it out every night

I'm going to be honest most times if there is water left from the day before I don't even dump it out. I just put more I ice in top it off and go. :rolleyes1

One thing I don't think I mentioned is the water in the bag will stay cold but the tube will get warm. The first time me and they boy shared a pack I could be heard yelling "Blow Back! Blow Back!" I hate expecting a nice cold drink and getting an almost hot mouthful of water. I have seen hose insulators used for winter sports to keep the hose from freezing, anyone have any experience with these keeping the water cool?
