Calling to see if i have a pin??

Hi all...

I've read here of people just calling up and asking if there is a PIN attached to your name. Who do I call? Do I call where I made my regular room reservation?

Just call the regular reservation #. I always call 1 (407) W-DISNEY.

And....just to make sure, even if I have a room reservation already, it is still possible to get a PIN??? And....I just ask if there is a PIN attached to my name???

I've called three times over the past few days... nope, no pixie dust for me. I know I don't have a pin... never ever have.. and surely never will. they all tell me no... but no pixie dust is offered out to me.

hate reading on here that free dining pin is out there, and for our dates... even friends of mine have gotten it. me, nope.

if it's out there, and you call and state you know about it.... would be nice if they could honor it and yes, let you use it.

have called playing dumb... have called asking if pin, specifically stating I knew of free dining pin, how ohhh, I hope there is one attached to my name. nope, nada.

Even though we've got off site reservations and have pretty much accepted that's what we'll be doing, I decided to call tonight and see if we had by some chance gotten that fantastic free dining PIN going around.

Of course not.

They always just say "Nope, not seeing anything for your household."

I'm starting to take it personally. Maybe Mickey doesn't want me to come see him... maybe the princesses sit around and talk about me on their break...

I keep calling, as well, and there is never a pin even though I secretly hope that there is one ... and that maybe one been sent to our email account that we can no longer access because it was hacked.

It also really frustrates me knowing that there is a pin out there for my dates (our package starts April 15th) but we can't use it.

I would love to get free dining and we'd be happy with the free QSDP, but I know we could do much better paying OOP if we don't get the pin. So when I was told that we didn't have a pin attached to our name, I said that I wanted to change our reservation and remove the DDP (which I what I had originally booked)

He then put me on hold for 15 minutes just to remove the DDP so that we just have the Magic Your way package w/ no dining plan booked - he must have thought I was calling his bluff, but honestly I figured that if I am not going to get a pin, I'm just going to make my own savings, and even though I'm really feeling disappointed, I'm trying to make myself feel content with it.

15 minutes though! For a while I thought he was working on giving me some pixie dust and finding a pin a code...

not unless you call on the day the PIN expires. Pins generally have at least a few weeks to be used, but it just depends on how soon you discover that you have one. The CM should be able to tell you when you would need to book by. Just remember that resorts only hold a certain amount of rooms available to be booked with a free dining or %off promo, so the sooner you book, the better your chances will be of staying where you want with the room category you want. To reserve a package it is a $200 deposit with the balance to be paid in full 45 days prior to arrival.
