Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not been on for a while, I have totally got the Disney Blues since coming back from our November trip so have been distancing myself!

Anyway... now I am trying to help my sister out. She is currently traveling around the world and plans to finish up in WDW for 3-4 weeks (then spending another 1 or so in Miami before coming home).

She has decided to get an annual pass and has been speaking to guest services via email who told her she would be entitled to passholder discount on her room rate. But she would need to ring up to get the prices.

Well the problem with that is a UK mobile calling from Australia to USA will cost a fortune! So she has asked me to help. Which is fine, but I am sure that there was an 0800 number I used whilst planning my trip that got me through to the US and not the UK call centre.

Does anyone know what it is or have any ideas for me? I really can't afford to call the 407 number!

Disney UK reservations number 0800 16 90 730 takes you to an office based in the USA. You may even be able to get them to either check or transfer you if necessary without redialling. Just keep in mind that some of the departments won't open until 7 am EST so noon here, therefore you may want to wait a couple of hours to up your chances of getting this sorted with a single phone call.

If you do need to phone the 407 number, use a cheap call access number 08433751020. Just follow the prompts, entering in the full number 001 407............. etc. This one is 0.5p per minute

Thats what I thought, but the lady on the phone sounded english and she told me I could only ring the 407 number. Perhaps I should ring back later and hope I get someone else?

The 0800 number only deals with UK bookings it's not for AP rates as that needs to be a US booking.

Why don't you use a US TA - you can communicate by email then. Dreams Unlimited are excellent :)

Oh wait, which option did you select? You may find ticket are UK based. Sorry, I never thought of that. Try the access code I listed above. I think you do need to wait if you want to get through, but aside from a few pennies for the initial connection, the charge really is 0.5 p per minute. Let us know how you get on.

When I have called WDW from Turkey - I used skype - a skype to phone connection - it was a good thing to as it was about an hour and 15 minutes - but it only cost 2 euro.
