Calling the experts! Transportation help from Pop to DC

I posted this on the SW board, but thought it might get more traffic here.


We are not renting a car and plan on using the Lynx to get from Pop Century to Sea World. I had thought about using a towncar service to get from Pop to Discovery Cove, but what if we want to head back to Sea World after our DC day? Would it be better to take a taxi to DC and if so, is it difficult to catch a taxi at DC if we decide not to go back to SW? Is it difficult to get from DC to SW?

Why don't you just call (or E-Mail) SW. Tell them you have transportation to SW and ask them if DC is an easy walk or if SW can arrange transportation for you (from SW). People staying in local hotels may have free transporation to SW. I'm sure this question comes up.

If you're on a budget take Lynx, otherwise just grab a cab and go directly to DC. I'm sure guest services can call you a cab if there aren't any cabs waiting.

Great idea!! Gee, why didn't I think of that?? Normally, I think more logically, but I think I have too much pixie dust floating around in my head thinking about our trip!

Taxis are always around, both at Pop and SeaWorld. And, they're also only a short phone call away.
