Ok I have to call the cleaning lady and tell her I was unhappy with what happened yesterday.

I dont want to be mean but at the same time I dont want to be ignored.

What is the best way to voice a complaint in a calm yet to the point manner?

Thank you.

ps, I really hate doing this but I am not happy about what happened yesterday :(

binny,

I have no experience in dealing with cleaning ladies - but I have expressed my displeasure to lots of other people in my lifetime! ( ;) )

I have a problem with keeping my temper in check. When I am dealing with customer service reps, I start out by saying that I am very upset with the product or service and I am really trying hard not to take it out on them.

Since you are actually, in essence, confronting a person directly responsible for your unhappiness, this will probably be hard to do. [maintain composure]

I would write down a list of specific problems/issues that you have with the person. I would then call and tell her that you are upset with the quality of service or whatever the problem was. Just try to breathe in, breathe out and remain calm. State your case and then either ask her how she will remedy the problem - or - tell her what you exect from her to make this right.
