When exactly will the 2005 Unofficial Guide go on sale?

We are FINALLY returning to the World after a long 4 year wait. My 2000 & 2001 UG versions are no longer satisifying my information cravings ... but I don't want to buy the 2004 version with just a few weeks (?) to go until the 2005 one comes out.

I'm waiting patiently (sort of... ) This is my favorite guide and planning is half the fun!

No, I'm not Len, but i read that the 2005 version comes out in September. Maybe he'll correct me, but I either read that on the update site or the book itself.

It IS a great book, though! By far, it's my absolute favorite guidebook!

The 2004 version did come out in Sept. I would expect the 2005 to do the same.

Hi Momto4,

Much to Bob's chagrin, the Guide just went to press in the last few days. I believe it should be out no later than Early September.

I have the galleys of almost the entire book (minus some maps and the touring plan companion pages), so if there's something specific you're interested in, let me know.

Also, I'm meeting with Bob next week to discuss some Guide-related things. I'll see if we can start talking about what's going to be in the '05 edition.

... and thanks, too, for the offer to check out specific sections. I wish I had something to ask, but the truth is, I read the thing cover to cover. As everyone knows, the first reason you buy a guide book is for the information, but what keeps me coming back to this one is the fun and entertainment. It's simply a great read!

Very informative and funny too .... you can't beat that combination!
