Calling HTC users

Hi, I have HTC desire, I'm having some issues with texting.

I'm wondering does anyone else have this problem.

1. I receive text message, I go to open and read, I click on message, then all of sudden it jumps to any random message

2. I open text message, type my reply and send, only to find it's been sent to any random person that I have recently had contact with.

I then have to reply and say sorry not for you text. Thank god I have unlimited texts.

I have been into the store, not much help just said it maybe that you have to many messages. I have cleared messages, but still happens.

My dd had a similar problem on her Desire - I think she loaded a different messaging app in the end which fixed it.

I think it was called Handcent - it's a free app.
