Calling home from resort

As we (me and mum) are going to be at CBR over Christmas, we will want to call home to wish my dad and brother greetings etc.

Does the resort sell phone cards in any store? I think that would be the most economical way to call the UK.

I would suggest a stop at a Wal-Mart. I didn't see any cards in the gift shop at CBR but I wasn't looking for them.

I haven't stayed at CBR (yet, just 3 days!), but I remember a vending machine at the Poly that had calling cards for sale. It was near the lobby phones. I don't remember seeing the same type maching at POR or ASM, so maybe it is just a deluxe resort thing. The price would definitely be better if you could get to a Wal-Mart, though!

Even 7 11 has phone cards and it is much cheaper to buy one before you go!!!!! If you get one with more minutes than needed, it will be less expensive than buying one onsite with minimal minutes. Disney has a way of sucking your pennies out of your pockets, it's just the way it is.

The OP lives overseas so he would need to buy one in the states when he arrives.

Oh dear, thanks for the answers. Not looking so good right now. I was in NY in October and meant to buy one then but of course I forgot!!!

We are travelling in a towncar and not hiring a car ourselves. We had decided not to bother with a grocery stop. Looks like we may have to rethink.

I haven't ever flown into Orlando but I would think they would be avl at the airport, or you could even check on-line.

There is a site http://www.callingcards.com that you can order online. From what it looks like after your order is verified, they email you the phone # and pin. I've never ordered anything from here, but it might be worthwhile to look into.
