LOL his right ended when he left at 330 this morning to go hunting :) I 'sorta' feel guilty, since he didnt know I was cooking a turkey today, but I did call him and tell him I was ..... he chooses to spend the day chasing the big buck, I get the skin :)

LOL my DH left at that time to this am... TO GO HUNTING! lol what a bunch of freaks they are, cold and rain and in the woods :confused3

My dad can get like this and he was in rare form today. So glad we left early.

my sister's father-in-law is like that! today when we were at my sister's he was so grumpy and got snippy with me......course i got snippy back. but anyway, my future FIL got really grumpy today too.

they had about 30 people over their house and my future FIL Is trying to make the dog do all these tricks for people. well there's so many people, the dog doesn't really pay attention long enough and he gets angry with her. so then he comes in the kitchen and we're watching a hockey game(DF's cousin is mentally slow and loves hockey and likes to tape some of the games and watch them) and starts going on about "i don't even LIKE hockey anymore! it's so boring!" then he starts yelling at his wife.....whom is tired and had a drink(one drink....and she's gone lol) because she's not really paying attention to him. just SO cranky! luckily some people told him to calm down.

You have got it all wrong, men are not grumpy around the holidays. We are however politically correct. So call us:

"Seasonally Attitudial Challenged"

This is a condition that is quite easily cureable. There are four things that compromise a part of the cure.

1: Easy Chair
2: Remote Control
3: Lack of relatives
4: Beer, Lots of Beer

Second thought, forget one through three just bring on the beer. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I had to laugh when I saw this thread - my "Grumpy Boy" (as I call DH) is affectionately known as "The Grinch" to his family and friends. Several friends say that they know the holidays have started when they hear him say "Ho Stinking Ho" and "Bah Humbug". In his family, they all have "santa bags" that his mom made for each of her 4 kids for all their Christmas goodies. Well, she made 3 of the bags to be real Santas, but for my DH? He has a "grinch in a santa suit" bag instead. :rotfl:

He hates Christmas decorations, and has "fought" me on having a tree each year we've been married (he always gives in to me, and has even bought me a tree a few times as a gift :teeth: ). He gets completely frustrated trying to get the "right" gift for everyone, and all the family events stress him out.

In his words, "we [grumpy men] dislike the fact that everyone feels like they can put obligations on us in the name of the holidays - especially social obligations".
