I realize that SAB is not like other pools. Believe me, being the giant kid that I am, I am dying to go there. But since this trip will be all about the kids, I figured that even the potential that they will regard it as any other pool will kind of spoil the magic. Did I mention that they've never been to a pool before? I'd be spoiling it for pools everywhere else! I'm not considering BB or TL because I don't think the kids will be ready for those larger parks yet. That's why I was thinking SAB.

Well best of luck, really any DVC resort, or WDW will be great. Your kids will have a wondeful time. (I know mine always do.) You won't be able to get to everything at once, but there is always next trips. The 1st time my friends came with us I was little dispaointed at the end of the trip because we didn't get to many things I wanted to. She said "We had loads of fun all day, every day, what more could you ask for?" I think she was right. BB and TL will be things to look forward to later. (along with Hoopdedo review and a number of other things.)
