Calling Female DISers!!

Selina and I were thinking...what is we all reserved a day sometime next year, perhaps, where the female DISers can drool over the Ghostbusters at every show?

The thing we'd need to know is...when would you be coming down (or able to come down) for a trip to Orlando?? I'm flexible and can do it anytime, really...but if anyone is interested...just let us know about when your next Universal trip is planned and if you don't mind seeing a show (or two, or three, or four...) with us. Can you imagine the maddness that would transpire?!

Post here or the "Drool over the Ghostbusters" thread, or PM or e-mail ne, if interested! Think about i...a "Girl's Day" at Universal! Don't worry, we can do other thigns too if we want, but one of the highlights is...you guessed it!!

Remember, we don't even have a specific month to do this in, so we're talking for all of next year for when you can come down. Preferrably before Thanksgiving time (or else you only see the Holiday Show...not the original). Input greatly appreciated too! This can be for only one show, or all of them. You decide too.

I hope to hear from: Robinrs, Kirstin's Mommy, Tigerlilly's Mom, damo, wendypooh, edie w, JessicaR, etc, etc, etc.

This is just a fun Girl's Day. My mom and I hope to do one with her boss's wife and daughter too.

OK cool! Maybe what we can do is have a couple different times to have this meet, that way, if some can't go to one, then they can go to a different one.

So...perhaps maybe one end of Janurary, one sometime during the Summer, and one in August.

Dates can be adjusted, depending on who's interested.

Checking in!!! LOL Just so you know, I have a very bad habit of opening my browser which in turn I have set to open this window here but actually am not here. I know you know what I mean! I also have a bad habit of just leaving it open since I'm on a cable modem and not even be at home! Anyway.........

I would love to do this but the problem I forsee is since I'm not local my family would not appreciate my spending an entire day watching GB's. Hmmm on second thought maybe they would appreciate the break from me! hee hee

So when I'm there, and you already know when my next trip will be I am excited to share a show or two with ya'll! My next trip after December will be in March sometime and the following one could be in August. I will watch for more info!

lol sorry AlexandNessa!!! I was in a rush (my parents were calling me to get off the computer so we could get lunch) so I had to quickly type.

You better see a show or two (or more) when you come down!!!!!!!

JessicaR -- well, it doesn't have to be for more than one show...but at LEAST for one show. But, if your family likes to do things you don't (ie - they like Twister and you don't? just a hypothetical example) they can always do that while you see another show. hehe!

I also understand about staying online all the time b/c of cable modem...it's the EXACT same thing with me. I'm "always online" b/c I leave my browser open all night and all day...never closing it. not once.

So, JessicaR, you probably get to see the holiday show when you come down in December (we're meeting up on the 14th right?. You have to wait until March or August to see the original though!!

No worries. I am so not in the least offended. We're shooting for May, and like JessicaR's family, Mike will not tolerate a full day of Ghostbusters, but I'm sure he'll be a sport and at least do a show (if boys are even allowed?).

Jodie - just like I mentioned to JessicaR, kick the family out to do some other things while we see another show No, he can see at least one show with us, of course, but, if he's like my dad, he'll see it once or twice and then do something else while we see another show (my dad doesn't complain b/c my mom and I don't usually go on T2-3D, which he loves. So, he does that to pass the time.).

Boys are allowed, but they can't interfere with the drooling. They must remain silent and act amused about the show. I can compile a rule list, if you wish.

P.S. JessicaR, sometime ago there was a permanent thread about DISers submitting their vacation pictures. I saw some of yours, and my BF commented that we look alike. I didn't see it, but we do have the same hair (fairly long and a reddish brown depending upon the light, if you still wear your hair that way) and same complexion (which is pretty pale for me). I hope I don't have you confused with someone else! Are you Irish too?

That would be me! LOL I am not Irish although every person I meet has decided I am. My hair is actually red to reddish blonde during the summer. Now I have to see a picture of you!
