Can anyone share experiences trying to call DLP Resort line direct from USA and hold times? We are trying to use Skype to connect and I have been on hold 2.5 hours! Ha! The resort line actually closed over an hour ago, but it didn't disconnect, the recording keeps saying hold on we will get to you..... Now I feel too invested to hang up! Ha! But I am sure no-one is going to answer.....

Sigh..... we have to call direct apparently to find out about CM rates and to attempt to book a room-only reservation.

This is just silly! And it's Easter of course, but theres nothing I can find saying they should have been closed and why would they put you in queue and then leave you there??!

aaaiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well, it's now 3 hours

given they should have closed nearly two hours ago, even if they were ever open, i guess it is safe to hang up. thankfully this whole thing seems only to cave cost about $5 on Skype..... can't WAIT to try this again...... :crazy2::crazy2::crazy2:

I am from the USA and when I was planning last year I wanted to call for dinner reservations (I made my hotel reservations online through the UK site), but I didn't want to pay the phone charges. Anyway, I got a great piece of advice to call Disneyland Paris call Walt Disney World and then ask to be transferred to Disneyland Paris. I don't have the exact number that we called, it might have just been the WDW Dining number (407-WDW-Dine) but I'm sure you could do a quick Google for a WDW number. I figured it was worth a shot since a Florida number is free using my cellphone.

I live in Wisconsin so with the time change to Paris we had to call before they closed, but while the WDW was also open. So we called at 7am central time. I was skeptical that they would transfer us but it worked fine. The first time we called hubby was on hold for 15 minutes on the WDW and then another 30 minutes when transferred to DLP. The Second time we called it was less than a 10 minute call all around. It was a good way to skip the charges and all that.

By the way if you are calling to make hotel reservations, make sure you have done research on other countries websites, the USA site is usually the most expensive and you can use the offers of any country.

Thanks! I've read that people do that, we will try. We are trying to get an idea if there are any CM discounts there, and we don't need tickets. We will try this tomorrow! Thanks!

Side note when I finally hung up I did call right back and it was playing a different message, call back tomorrow. But I just couldn't sit there anymore!!!

DH called WDW this morning, was transferred to DLP and had a room at the Cheyanne booked in under 10 minutes!! I have to LOL at how long we sat staring st Skype yesterday!!
