Calling DIS hockey fans...........

anyone know anythign about the "sneak preview" of Miracle (about the 1980 Olympic team)?

The movie release date is Saturday Feb 6th, but the TV tonight is advertising a special "sneak preview" THIS Saturday night. I'm not a regular movie-goer. DD 17 is the regular movie-goer in this house, but she doesn't know what a "sneak preview" means......a one time showng locally or what? DH and DD and I are all looking forward to this movie!

Usually a sneak preview is a week or two ahead of the regular release date, and is one showing only. I can't find anything online for a sneak preview of Miracle, but I intend to keep looking.

I can't wait to see this movie, having watched the actual game when I was a Junior in HS. This looks to be a good one

I cannot WAIT for this film! I was watching the extended trailer online the other night.

Speaking of Hockey and BC...NHAnn BC destroyed us on Friday and I wanted to MURDER my boys after that game, if you were aware of what happened.

I saw that NU went ahead 2-0 early but BC came back, went ahead 3-2 in the third, then got an empty netter while shorthanded 2 men?? sorry...well...not really
My DH is a UNH grad (we share a pair of UNH season tickets with my sister) so hockey season is ...exciting in my house

I'm going to see Miracle TONIGHT at a sneak preview! I got free tickets from work through our Disney Rep!

I saw the ad on TV too, about the sneak preview. Don't know anything about it though. None of us can wait to see Miracles when it comes out. We're all hockey fans in this house. Mom grew up around it, and my cousin got the rest of us hooked a couple years ago.

My ex-boyfriend (who I dated for three years) played travel hockey, so I got into it in high school. Now that I'm at NU, two guys on the floor below me that I'm friends with (one coincidently from my hometown) are on the team.

It's hard when I go down there after a dissapointing game not to scream and tell them how I REALLY feel. Luckilly they usually play well, and I would never do that.

I'm known as the tiny girl in the dorm with the large mouth when it comes to hockey games. Apparently I get too into it? Huh? Whatever could they be talking about?? lol

I can't wait to see this movie. Nobody else in my house wants to so I may even go by myself. I was such a hockey fan then. I was in elem. school living in Philly and the Broad St. Bullies were the team. Then we had the whole US, Russia thing.

I can't wait to see Miracle either. We should plan a Miracle meet in Boston when it comes out That Lowes theatre on Boston Common is awesome!

oooohhh Karen, that's a great idea!! Boston or even a suburban theatre....with a pre-or post movie meet at a mall or restaurant for the non-hockey fans in the area!

Check your local paper on Saturday morning. Hopefully, one of your local theatres will have the sneak preview listed. If it is, go early and buy the tix! We're gonna do that - I know we'll have it at ONE of the local cineplexes! (older DS was just an infant when these Olympics were on - I startled him when I was sitting on the floor with him on my lap - I was sooo excited!!)

I can't wait to see this movie.......I really got into hockey after seeing USA win the Olympics in 1980. Too bad Herb Brooks isn't alive to see this.

No sneak preview here either. That's Ok though as I forgot I was planning on going to the NFL experience and the big Superbowl street party downtown Satruday night. I guess I can wait until the 6th
