Calling Dining for WOC

Getting all ready to book a dining package 60 days out. But wondering - how quickly are they selling out? Do I need to hit the phones right on 8.00am? Anyone with recent experience out there?

The last I read, they weren't taking Dining reservations past August 26th I believe. So I would still call, but not sure what's going on with the packages & the WoC show.

If you want first show, I would call at 8am. Good luck & let us know if you hear otherwise on the dining package.

I called earlier today and got an 8:30 reservation at Ariel's Grotto for Friday 7/23. This was the last open slot, though.

I don't think you need to call as soon as they open, but the sooner the better!

I was getting ready to book my WOC dining in a few days as well, when I heard the bad news that Disney Dining is likely not taking any reservations for packages later than August 26th. Plus, the Park Hours on Disneyland.com are now showing no WOC shows after Sept. 6th. I am beyond disappointed that we might not be able to see WOC when we visit at the end of Sept. for the D23 Destination D event.

I even left a comment on the related post on the Disney Parks Blog, and while others were receiving replies to their comments regarding other questions, my comment went conspicuously unanswered...

Long story, short, please keep us posted on what you find out thru Disney Dining! Thanks so much!!

I just called yesterday for next Sunday and got a 7:30 ressie and they had plenty of earlier times as well. i would make this ressie my first so if you can't get the exact night you want you could try a different night.

No WOC for a D23 event? I cannot believe it. Hang in there and hopefully some positive news will come out soon.
