CAlling August people - how is the weather usually?

I went to DLRP in August 1997 (I'm sure a lot has changed since then!) and it rained every day. People who go regularly in August - what is the weather usually like? Do they get it a bit warmer than we do here? Bearing in mind I'm in Great Yarmouth and we always get a bit of a sea breeze!!

August 2006 was HOT!!!!!!! spent a fortune on water ,going 3rd august this year hoping for the same

We went in August in 04 & it was very hot. It was also very hot last Easter when we went.

It should be lovely hot weather but the weather is one thing you can never predict

August 2005 was HOT! August 2006 was a nice temperature with some cloudy days and a bit of rain and August 2007 rained almost everyday that i was there and had one boiling hot day.
