:wizard: Hello! This is my first time posting a question. Please let me know what is the best floor or location for our stay with WL in April of 2006. ::MickeyMo :cheer2:

pirate: Heymomsmagicalmemories, we have stayed at the WL several times over the years and let me start by saying that you have picked an absolutely beautiful resort. The best views as far as I'm concerned is the courtyard view. Even though it costs more the views are really quite wonderful. Also the concierge level is also rather nice. These concierge rooms are on the 7th floor and are all non-smoking. You may be going at what is considered to be a peak time as far as the prices on rooms go. April can be pretty busy due to Easter and also spring break. The cheapest room would be obviously standard rooms which will give you various views. The WL really is a wonderful resort and honestly no matter what view or room you may get, I'm sure you will have a wonderful stay. Have a great time and good luck. Chip.

I agree with Chip64, you picked a beautiful resort. The location really depends on what you are looking for. I didn't think I would want a lobby view, but after seeing the lobby, I could definitely see doing that in the future. The north wings are close to Roaring Forks and laundry and some have MK views. It really depends on what you want to be near, or look at. If you give some more hints, I'm sure you'll get plenty of great suggestions. :goodvibes Good luck.

This is the view I had from my room.

This room has 2 beds, is close to the elevators (I rarely heard people outside my door), as well as to Roaring Forks, the pool, the boat launch and the lobby. It's also not that far from the buses.

I second the inner courtyards view. We were on fifth floor, very quiet, with a beautiful view of the falls, pool and lake. The WL is a magnificent hotel, you will LOVE it! Take time to just hang out and chill in the lobby, it's one of my fav things to do there. Have agreat time.

We had woods view, at the end of the building. We looked out on Bay Lake, the geyser, and the boat dock. We could see the EWP from our balcony. They had upgraded us to courtyard, but it overlooked the villas and we didn't like it so asked to be moved to the woodsview we had reserved. As far as I'm concerned, we had the best room in the house!

That is a great view. We had a courtyard view, 2nd floor straight out onto the pool...it was not good. Just not private enough for me. I love to hang out on the balcony, but just felt way too exposed there. We had made requests, but just didn't get them. Love, love, love that view Terk-1...did I mention that already??!!!! I would go for a woods view next time.

:goodvibes Thank you so much for the great information. If you don't mind I did come up w/ a few more questions and would love some honest and expert advice.
We will be traveling in 4/2006 during Easter Break. What is the BEST place to eat on Easter day with my husband and 4 year old son? Will anyone deliver and Easter Basket to our room on Easter morning? Since my son is 4 years old would that change any input on the best location in the WL to stay? :cloud9:
