I need some help in deciding which Woods View room to request. I definately would like a balcony, king size bed and maybe a view of MK fireworks?

Anyone have any good Woods View rooms that have all those things?

DH and I are close to making a decision for our upcoming Oct Anniversary trip . . .

Thanks for any help! :D

We have stayed at the WL twice, and every woods view room I saw didnt have very good views of the MK fireworks...neither did the courtyard views for that matter. I think you would be able to see the EWParade, but that is about it. Ask for a view of the boat landing...that should be a good view. We always had a view of the courtyard from the 5th floor and it was WONDERFUL...but Im not sure about the woods view..just what I have seen from the ground.

Good luck and sorry I wasnt any help!

Only one side of the building faces the MK, so if you want a MK view, ask for that and a room high up. Some of those rooms still have the view blocked by trees, however. It's possible to see the castle, but this is a very limited view of the MK --- not at all like the view from the Contemporary. WL is gorgeous. One of the benefits of staying there is that it's so relaxed, and you can feel that you're totally removed from the world, but Disney is just around the corner.
Another nice view would be on the opposite side of the building, close to the beach and the boat dock. Ask for a lake view (and high up, if you prefer that).
You can always smile graciously and politely ask if there might be the possibility of a room upgrade when you check in.
Have a great trip!
