:yay:

So it is only 27 days till our trip to WDW! It is just my hubby & I going and this will be our FIRST trip together!!! I have heard wonderful things about Tonga Toast and Dole Whips..... I am starting to get a little worried that we will miss some really great places to eat!

I was hoping for some help! We need some great places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are not huge eaters so buffets may not be the best for us.

Any info would be great!! TYIA

Have you not made any ADR's?? Are you mostly interested in CS or TS restaurants. On the DDP?

You don't indicate if you have a preference for type of food, if you are looking for counter service or table service. If you have made no ADR's as of yet, you better decide quick to see what you can call and get.

We are very open to all kinds of food! We are NOT on the DDP. I haven't made any ADR's I have been unsure of where and when!!

Here are some of our favorites and must do's (must do's marked with an *) for table service:

Epcot:
LeCellier *
Biergarten
Rose & Crown

Hollywood Studios:
Mama Melrose
50's Prime Time

Magic Kingdom:
Crystal Palace* (breakfast buffet with Pooh and friends--love the puffed french toast)
Plaza Restaurant
Liberty Tree Tavern (for lunch)

Animal Kingdom:
We have never done any...but are trying Yak & Yeti in September--it's gotten pretty good reviews

Resorts:
Cape May Cafe (trying breakfast this year, did dinner the last two years)--another buffet (characters at breakfast, but not at dinner)
We are trying Boma's and Whispering Canyon Cafe this year

Counter Service:

Magic Kingdom:
Columbia Harbour House*
Pinocchio Village Haus
Pecos Bills

Epcot:
Sunshine Seasons

Hollywood Studios:
None--we go back to our resort--CSR--and eat at Pepper Market or have a big breakfast and then have dinner at Mama Melrose

Animal Kingdom:
Flame Tree Barbecue

Resorts:

Roaring Forks at Animal Kingdom

If you haven't already, check out the menus and pricing on allears.net, then tomorrow morning make some ADR's. You can always make changes later, then at least you would have something to work with.

To add to what KatMark said, I would suggest Tusker House (TS) in AK, especially if you can't get into Boma it has some similar food.

For CS we like Cosmic Ray's in the MK.

Good Luck!!!:)

Since you are at your 27 day mark, I'm assuming your ADR's are already booked.

If not, all is not completely lost, but I would suggest making some ASAP because it's typically pretty difficult to get "walk-up" or on the spot seating at most table service restaurants at WDW.

BUT, here are some great counter service places:

Breakfast:
-Definately check out the Main St. Bakery at MK. Great egg sandwiches and a variety of yummy breakfast sweets!!
-Fresh Mediterannean Market at the Dolphin resort. They sell Starbucks coffee here!
-Sassagoula Floatworks at the Port Orleans French Quarter resort for Beignets

Lunch:
-Sunshine Seasons food court at Epcot. Tons of great choices here-with many fruits and veggies grown right on WDW grounds!
-Casey's Corner on Main St. at MK. If you are a hot dog eater, this place is great! & they have a guy who plays piano while you eat!
-Pizzafari at DAK. I loved the italian sandwich & it's a very bright & colorful atmosphere!

Dinner:
-Any CS in the World Showcase at Epcot! It's alot of fun to split a bunch of mini meals, tastes from different countries. We think this is more fun for dinner in Epcot than going to a TS!
-Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club resort. This is actually a table service place, but they don't take ADR's. Go during an off time (late lunch/early dinner). Food and ice cream are excellent!
-Wolfgang Pucks Express in DTD. Never been here, but I've read fantastic reviews and seen yummy photos of the food!

Good luck and have a great trip!:goodvibes

Don't let everyone stress you out, I will be going to Disney in just over a month and I just called today to get reservations and booked Jiko and Spoodles. If you are a little flexible I'm sure you will get some great dinners. The only thing I was disappointed about was i couldn't get into 1900 Park Fare, I really wanted to meet Prince Charming

There is sooooo much good food at Disney that unless your going for a month, you won't be able to eat it all. :goodvibes

Anything you miss is a good excuse to go back.

The same goes for the rides and attractions.
Keep that in mind, that you can NOT see it all. I go all the time, and I am still doing things that are new.

Remember to slow down and enjoy the parks.

Have a good trip!!

If this is the 1st trip you and your husband are taking together without children then I suggest:

Flying Fish
CA Grill
Artist Point
V&A's - if it suits your tastes and budget

Just wanted to say have a great trip!! Don't let anyone tell you it's just a trip for kids, dbf and I went and had an absolute blast! :-)

I would *definitely* recommend Spoodles at the Boardwalk. For something a little fancier, Flying Fish at the Boardwalk is great, too. I know you said you aren't crazy about buffets, but Boma at AKL is a must-do for us. If you decide on Boma, and ADR is an absolute must.

You shouldn't have any trouble making ADRs as long as you don't try for, say, Le Cellier or for every meal at prime times. Good luck and happy eating!! :hippie:

At such a late date...some of th TS ADRs may be hard to get....but..call and ask the CM what is available for your vacation. From our experieince...the rest. at some of the resorts or at DTD maybe an option...such as..

Narcoosees at the Grand. Flor.
Shulas at the Dolphin
Raglan Rd, at DTD
Portabella Yachtclub at DTD
Fultons at DTD
Kona at the Poly.
Capt. Grille at the Yacht Club.....etc.

As others have said, it is very late to be securing ADR's at Prime dinner time for the popular restaurants. If you can eat early or late you may have a better chance. The more flexible you are, the better your chances.
We love both Jiko at the AKL and Raglan Road in DTD.
Have a great trip

Here is what I am hoping to get:

I would love to get into Kona for breakfast, Chef Mickey's for dinner, California Grill for dinner and Big River grille & brewing for dinner.

I keep trying to call the adr # but it keeps saying ALL CIRCUITS BUSY!!!!! It is driving me nuts!!!

I hope I can get something!!!!:confused3

OK!! I got breakfast at Kona and a dinner at Liberty Tavern!!! I am so excited. There were openings at California but they were late.

I am so excited!!!!
