i would like to get the opinion of all you teens out there on which hotel you would choose and why.
Our family is taking our first ever trip to wdw in june 18 - 25. Our 2 daughters will be 13 and 15. they have already told me that they dont want to stay at any of the all star resorts. so I have it pretty much narrowed it down to 2 resorts, Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach.
so which one is your favorite and which one do you think that they would enjoy the most.
thanks alot:thumbsup2

For activities around the hotel, The Boardwalk definitely wins. It has so much to do, I went when I was 13 with my BFF and although we stayed at the Dolphin, we would walk over at night to the BW to hang out.

i went to coronado and i didnt lke it. its seemed like a place for a old retired couple to go. so id have to say the caribben beach

Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans French Quarter/Riverside, Boardwalk, Yatchs Club(?)

Between the choices of Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach, I'd suggest Caribbean Beach. My family stayed there during our second trip to WDW and loved it. I really liked the slide at the pool and there are also cannons that shoot water every now and then.

I'm not even sure if Coronado Springs was built when we still stayed at the cheaper resorts (my parents eventually bought into DVC so now it'd actually cost us MORE to stay at a moderate vs using our points at a deluxe). I think it was only Caribean Beach, Dixie Landings (which got added to Port Orleans), and the original Port Orleans....I think. I'm pretty sure. It was a while ago tho. I was really little and still in elementry school. So I can't really say what it's like there, but my whole family enjoyed our stay at Caribbean Beach. It was nice. :)

But if it were me and money wasn't an issue...I'd stay at the Wilderness Lodge. It's my second home.<3

EDIT: Wait a minute...I just double checked with my mother and Coronado Springs was there when we stayed at Caribbean Beach. I just don't remember it because it was about 11 years ago that we stayed at a moderate. So never mind! :D

*failz*

I still think you should stay at Caribbean Beach tho. <3

Out of your choices, I'd choose Caribbean Beach. I've never been there before, but I have stayed at Coronado Springs, and I didn't really like it that much.

But if I could choose ANY resort, it would definitely be The Boardwalk. It's really cool for teens too because there's a good night life. They can't get into the clubs there, but they can just hang out at night on the boardwalk. =]

I've never been to either but I would choose Carribean Beach Resort. It seems like a lot of fun and a great theme! :goodvibes

I have never been to either of those. We usually prefer Pop since we are barely ever at the hotel anyways since we only go for one or two days.
Buttt, I would prefer to go to Carribean beach. It seems like such a cool atmosphere :]

BOARDWALK, FTW!

There's nothing better than my home DVS resort, Boardwalk, for teenagers. There's alway something going on & its location is great. There's a ton of restaurants & always other teens. If they have trouble finding people, there's four hotels within five minute walking distance [Yacht, Beach, Swan, Dolphin]. It's pretty much amazing.

Coronado Spring is too isolated for me. I felt like I wasn't at Disney, but rather at a resort by a beach, minus the beach. I've never stayed at the Caribbean Beach, but I've heard it's excellent.

I'd have chosen Coronado Springs. Port Orleans French Quarter and the beach club would be good choices too though.

I haven't been to either, but my cousins, ages 9 and 15, went to Caribbean Beach and really liked it. Also, I think Caribbean Beach just redid the pool area.

Caribbean Beach.

But also,Port Orleans Riverside is great. It has an arcade, you can take a boat ride to DTD, you can rent these little boats that you can ride around the river, and they have a big pool.

I've stayed at Caribbean Beach before, and to be honest it wasn't all that great. But it was pretty, if I had my way though, I wouldn't go back. Now I've never stayed at Coronado, but I heard there's nothing for teens to do there. So I'd go with Caribbean Beach.

We're staying at Saratoga Springs next month, and I cannot wait! I love it there.
