Calling all SINGLE solo travelers

Slapwhitey,
You may me want to change my Jan. plans for Dec. I'm a teacher and December is such a crazy time in the classroom! I may just have to leave the kids though and go experience Christmas at WDW. :)

Make sense why you would go to Ottawa now, it is also a beautiful city. Maybe you will come back to Moncton again someday. I will try to have a happy birthday trip there, I don't think I will have to try very hard...hehehe. :drinking1

I don't think you'll have to try very hard either, I remember many fun nights out on the town in Moncton. Lots of great bands and clubs there!

OK, I am in...I am a Single 30yr old previously from MN but now live in sunny FL...A few hrs from Orlando but close enough to make use of my annual pass and my family's DVC....Been to WDW at least once almost every year since I was 3....Working on finding a weekend in May or June to hit BCV, not really sure which one yet.....have points to use b4 end of July....so am open to suggestions

Hello I am a 32 year old male from Buffalo, N.Y. I have never found a woman who enjoys Disney like me. Like it ....yes. But want to go there as often as I do ...No. I cant understand why one would want to go anywhere else. I love the anticipation of my next trip as much as the trip itself (well almost)

It is nice to see there are others like me out there. My new job does not afford me vacation time for a while so I am in disney withdrawl. Oh well anticipation makes the heart grow stronger.

I will be headed down to the world for ONE DAY in late september as Im going to see the Bills play the Bucs. I dont know how ill do with one day at the world. I cant imagine leaving after such a short stay. Oh well . Some Mouse is better than no mouse. :earboy2:

Hey Zip a dee dude,

Let me be the first to officially welcome you to the dis. Love your name by the way. I totally agree, who could not want to go to WDW all the time? Going on my 8th trip in 5 years this June. I agree some mouse is better than no mouse, but one day? I don't know how i'd do that....would have to be alot of park hopping to get all my favorites in.

I hear ya "dude". Everyone is always telling me to take a vacation somewhere else. What's the point, I'd only be dreaming of WDW anyway. I've only been back for 4 days and I'm already trying to plan the next visit. Not in the budget but that's why they invented VISA.

Enjoy the game, I've always wanted to see the Raymond James stadium.

Hi Zip!
You cannot push your 1 day trip, just for another day or two?? Oh, I feel bad you cannot do that! that adds new meaning to "So close but yet so far!"
:guilty:

I wish I had another day to see Disney But alas I have one weekend to see the guys at the game and see the world by myself.

Anyone who wants to do a whilwind trip of the world on SAT. SEPT 17 let me know. I think to meet someone in the world would be fun.

Has anyone park Hopped for ONE DAY is that even allowed on a one day ticket. I'd love to get in SPACE SOARIN POTC HM MPHIL and KSafaris. I think I'd be too tired to drive to tampa!!!

Thanks for the welcom I hope to spend a lot of time here....My old board is too DL centered and this place is AWSOME. I dont know how I missed it for so long.

PS JAnet I love your AVATAR :earboy2:

one day whirlwind last week. I went down to golf and only had one day in the parks. Needless to say, I could barely walk the next day but it was worth it. I can give you any tips you need.

I usually park hop on my last day to hit all my favorite attractions again. A regular one day ticket will not allow you to hop. You will have to add that feature to your admission ticket. A one day will cost you 100.91 with taxes and park hopping features. If you know you are going again, which I am sure you will be, I'd consider buying a longer stay ticket and adding the never expire to it. For example a 1o day park hopper with no expiration date bought in advance would be $353.58 or the same ticket but in a 7 day would be 296.08 or a 5 day would be 272.65.

I couldn't fathom paying over a $100 for one day when I could get 10 for $353. Of course if you wanted to just hit one park one day admission would only be 63.63.

So have I totally confused you? Feel free to pm me if I can clarify anything.

long this thread has gone and how many single Disney nuts there are at various stages in life!

I have been trying really really hard to get my daughter to love The World as much as I do... two WDW and one DL Paris trip and I think I may have succeed... You can't beat the look on her five year old face the moment she sees Mickey!

this thread is so much fun...i found guys my age that like disney..found people that live in jersey--who else is out there?!?! haha

There definitely needs to be more male single NJ Disney lovers out there. I love going on solo trips but at the same time it can get depressing walking around there by myself seeing all the couples with their bride & groom ears on. :p

I'm pretty much an expert on all the parks in one day. My family and I go to Daytona Beach for a couple of weeks. We drive over to the world one day and do all the parks. Feel free to ask me questions if you need any advice on your quick trip! :flower:

Glad to see there are Disney guys out there my age too! Who knew? :goodvibes

ive never done a solo trip, but i know what you mean..
every time i say i want to go to disney, my guy friends say im crazy, that im never goingi to find a guy to go to disney with me...

I hear the same things too from my friends. Believe me though, it is not fun to take a guy to WDW who is not into Disney as much as you are. That is one time I wish I HAD been on a solo trip. It can be fun to take advantage of the single riders line when you are by yourself. Still, I would love to walk around the 'world' with a guy who is enjoying it as much as I am....if that's possible. ::MinnieMo

i know exactly where you are coming from--soo glad that other people feel the same way...im going in a couple weeks with a friend from college...then again in sept with another friend from college---both other girls bc i cannot find a guy that likes disney , and as you said, i dont want a miserable guy...my goal is to find a g uy in jersey who actually likes disney and is actually not going to treat me miserably!!

Funny I cant find a girl who will spend more than three days at the world with me. They are all a bit high matenance and dont like to spend a full day at the parks like I do. One time I took a girlfriend to MGM and she had the nerve to say "Do we really have to see Fantasmic". She proceeded to pout her way thru the show. HOW CAN YOU NOT SMILE AT FANTASMIC!!!!! I EVEN SHED A TEAR WHEN ITS OVER. Needless to say she did not last that long after the trip. I cant spend my life with someone who doesnt like Fantasmic.....refuse to.....sorry.

I guess im the one with the problem huh....oh well makes me feel good to know there are other freaks like me out there
