Another great gig last night, this time at Ravenhill Rugby Ground in Belfast. Mel C opened the proceedings and her set was just finishing as we entered the stadium. Sounded ok from what we did manage to hear but we'd only come to see Quo and Meatloaf anyway so we didn't feel we'd missed much. Quo took the stage at 7.10 pm and played a set lasting just over an hour. Francis Rossi made a few jokes about the ridiculous seated area right in front of the stage, comparing it to playing in front of a committee who'd been sent to judge the bands! Meatloaf came on with his entourage just before 9pm and played until 10.25. He too made light of the people sitting in front of the stage and made them stand several times (blocking our view into the bargain!). All the classic hits were played and the crowd of around 10,000, of all ages might I add, left happy. Here are some pics for you to savour;
