calling all professionals / need suggestion

I will be staying offsite in Florida in October ...

I am bringing a friend and her dd 9 to accompany myself and my dd 9 ... my friend is not a Disney lover but she loves GREAT food. She mentioned today that she does not recall a thing about going previously except the wonderful food she had at 1900 Park Fare while her neice was at a meet and greet YEARS ago.

She is expecting me to find us a place to eat that matches or beats the food she had there and it does not have to be a buffet or a meet and greet but those may be a bonus for our kids? Um, we are not on a dining plan and are paying cash but for a splurge and for her to be happy with a part of her trip I think we can afford the higher end places as well ...

What is the most melt in your mouth - oh my Gosh did I really just eat something THAT good place that you can think of?

I think 1900 Park Fare is nice. If you would like to do a breakfast, the one we just can't do without is O'hana the food is great and the character interaction is wonderful. We really like Teppan Edo as well, of course no characters. My absolute favorite meal last year was at Futons Crab House in DTD. I haven't eaten at all the restaurants, but so far those are my top three.

California Grill. No characters and certainly not a buffet, but some of the best views anywhere and great food, especially if you enjoy sushi.

Le Cellier's steaks.

Via Napoli's pizzas and desserts.

The best food is at Epcot or the Resorts. Avoid Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and especially Hollywood Studios with any food expectations.

Citricos, Jiko, Flying Fish, bluezoo, or Cali Grill.

For a non-signature, I am a huge fan of Sanaa. Great food and a super-unique setting!
