Calling all Play Station junkies- Help please

Our PS1 broke. My mom is thinking about getting us a PS2 now. My ? is do PS1 games work with PS2. I don't want to waste our fairly new PS1 games if hey are not PS2 compatible!!!!!!!!! Thanks Again, Carrielee

Just asked my Son and he says yes they do! But, PS2 do not play on PS1. Hope this helps!

yea they do i have both and they ps1 play on 2
