calling all mvmcp vets--strategy question

So, the party starts at 7pm. Do they let us in before 7 or promptly at 7? I'm trying to narrow down dinner choices before everything starts, but I don't want to end up standing in a long line to get in to the park.

What's everyone else doing about dinner. I just don't know how to time everything right.

if you are in the park you stay in everyone gets a braclet with tickets if you go after 7:00 just show your ticket and go get a braclet or you can get a braclet at 4:00 leave and come back
you can start getting braclets at 4:00pm at certain points through out the park i know theres one by city hall
everyone without a braclet is not allowed on rides and starts leaving
the park is closed to everyone without braclets

Last year the park closed at 6 and the party started at 7. if you were already in the park, you had to go to Tomorrowland at 6. We ate at Cosmic Ray's during that hour, and I think Buzz Lightyear was open to ride too.

Eat nearby or eat in MK. Get there before 6:00p closing or you won't be let in till exactly 7:00p with the crowds.

I'm eating at CP at 5:15p. I ate at LTT last year and CP the year before. It's great to already be in the park at 7:00p!

We attended 2 years ago. We arrived at the park about 5:15. Our first stop was to get our wrist bands. We were told to go to Tomorrowland. We rode everything in that area within an hour. We arrived at Fantasyland around 6:50 and had ridden everything there by 7:45. Many people were just arriving in Fantasyland as we finished. We also had our photo made without any wait by 7:45. We then ate at Cosmic Ray's without much of a crowd because everyone was in line for the rides. We also were able to see many of the displays without many people around and take pictures. The night we attended was not very crowded. Best of luck on your trip.

Best bet, get a PS for Liberty Tree Tavern at about 5:45, that will give you more than enough time to have a relaxing (and very tasty) meal just before the party. Get your wristbands before dinner and then after dinner, you'll be able to walk right into the party, rather than be herded into Tomorrow Land to wait for the regular park guests to exit.

Enjoy the party! Walking with our son down Main Street USA with our son, "snow" falling all around us, is a memory none of us will ever forget.
