hi all. just a couple of questions, please. i understand that communal tables are set up rather than individual ones for each party. if you were facing the stage, are the tables positioned across from left to right or are they perpendicular to the stage? (side to side or front to back) are there any bad seats in the house? also, if the food is served family style, is each table expected to share from "communal platters" or do they bring indivdual platters for each party? if anyone out there can decipher these questions, please help! thanks in advance

The tables are set up perpendicular to the stage. There are seats in the "back" that make it harder, but not impossible to see. At these seats, you just pray that the people infront of you are not rude and stand up or position their chairs so that you can't see (I have had this happen on a couple of occasions!). You are assigned seats as soon as you book, so the best ones go to people who book earlier.
The food is served family style, but you are served food for your own party - you don't share with strangers!

This all said - we do love the show!!! Hope you have a great time!!!

donna, thanks for the detailed info and congratulations on deciphering my questions!

Some of the tables at the front are parallel to the stage. Generally these tables offer seating for 2 or 4 people. We had a table for two at the very front slightly off center. We booked in March for our June trip. Of course it was our Anniversary, so that might have had something to do with the excellent seats!

the tables towards the back are higher and have higher chairs. The tables at the front are pretty low and have low chairs. The tables in the way back are on a little riser. Though closer is better, the way way back can still see. The theater area is not huge so I don't really think there is bad seat.

The tables are all in long rows but you are seated by parties.
