I just can't wait to go to WDW... Thought I'd start a thread to find out other people's plans for their June trip past or present!

Any great tips? :confused3

Any must dos?

Crowd levels? :dance3:

Weather? I know - HOT! :cool2:

We are there from June 14th (Both my kid's birthdays) - June 24th. We are coming from California and are soooo excited!

Only a few more weeks of school and then off to WDW - YIPPEE! :cheer2:

We'll be at the BCV from the 21st to the 28th. I anticipate tropical heat, daily rain and big crowds. That said, when we've gone in June before, we've done okay with getting to the parks when they open, taking an afternoon break and either returning to a park or doing some other activity in the evening.

I've brokered a deal with my kids that early-rise days will be interspersed with sleep-in and go the pool days. They're older now so the idea of evenings in EPCOT appeals to them.

Tips? Drink lots of water and/or Gatorade. Have hats for everyone (I never wear hats and I'm never without one in WDW in June.) Pack a choice of footwear so you don't have to put on wet shoes. And have fun!

We'll be there 6/20 - 27 (my bday is 6/21). See my Pre-Trip Report in my siggi.

We're getting very excited. We live here in FL so weather is not a shock to us. It will be hot & humid. Ladies should plan to just live in a ponytail. We plan early morning and mid-day breaks at the pool. Otherwise I just get too warn out. This also helps with crowds.

Happy planning, you are 1 week ahead of us and I am totally jealous! I can't wait to get there!!! This will be the 1st trip for my 2 step kids. They've done a day trip to MK but have never stayed at the resorts or gone to any other park. DH has only done MK & DHS ... So I am just thrilled to share this with everyone.

We're also going from June 14-21. I'm just preparing for crowds and heat!

we'll be there june 7-14, and i'm anticipating heavy, but not overwhelming crowds, serious heat and humidity, and LOADS OF FUN!

June 9-16 at CSR, with a day or two at Busch Gardens/NASA before, and 5 days at Universal Studios after WDW.

Also planning on driving to Titusville on June 13 to watch the early morning shuttle launch, if today's launch is successful and there's no delay.

:cool1: We will be at ASMu June 5-12!!!!!! I can't wait. I have read everything on these boards everyday since Christmas. My family is convinced that I need some type of Disney-aholic support group. :rolleyes1
I have my spreadsheet done, my packing list created, all the saved items for my binder, my touring plans are ready, and have bought 1.00 ponchos. I am trying to keep myself from starting to pack today!
This is our first time staying on-site and first visit in five years so you can believe I am ecstatic!!!

We are staying @ CBR 6/13-6/20. Anticipating a great time! No heat, crowds or swine flu are going to hold me back! Im getting use to heat ahead of time here in the grand ol' state of TX...! :cool1:

We'll be there June 13-21 at CSR!! :cool1: Almost less than a month!

It is crowded and hot in June, but we used to go in July and June is a little less crowded and slightly less hot (but not by much, haha). To fight off the heat, we brought one of the spray/fan water things. We bought it at Wal-Mart before we left so it was much less expensive than if you by them at WDW. We brought cold water bottles with us everyday to the park and wrapped a wash cloth around them to keep them colder for longer. When we got to the parks for rope drop, we could do pretty much everything we wanted with almost no wait.

Hope everyone is getting excited and has a good trip!!

We are driving down from PA for a 15 day vacation starting June 12th. It will be hot and crowded but just take things slow and remember to have fun.

We're at the Beach Club 6/10 through 6/17. We always travel to WDW in the summer. Get to the parks at rope drop, use FP, tale a mid day break and be sure to take some time to "stop and smell the roses".

I'm going June 28th to July 3rd. I'm so excited, me and my best friend are going by ourselves the day after graduation, well I consider it that night cause our flight out is at 6 am and we'll be at partys all night long. I plan on taking a two hour nap that night and leaving the house at 3:15 AM. We're crazy I know but I'm really really excited!!!

I'm slowly preparing myself for the heat, I've been going to the beach like crazy lately and the crowds are going to be horrible but I'm not going to let that effect me.

May 30 to June 5th. Are the crowds lighter in early June since a lot of schools are in session?? Please say yes, lol!

June 21-29 at CBR and our first time ever in the June heat. I'm a little scared

Previous trips have always been either March or December, and we're from Canada. We know what August humidity is like here, but I'm kinda thinking we're in for a bit of a slap.

Our family is looking forward to our upcoming trip June 12th - June 26th. Only a month left!!!

June 13-21 at CSR here!!

We're so excited too, it's all we think about! I'm ready for school to be done, I'm ready to get away and be in Disney!!

My Tip? Afternoon breaks with a swim and a rest! Return to the parks in the evening.

Have a great trip everyone!!

We are staying at POR June 2-9. We are very excited and can't wait. I hope the crowds aren't too heavy and I know it will be hot. It will be our first family trip so hope all goes well

We are doing a very happy dance here at our house. Our Mickey Mail came today and my son is counting ddown the days until we are leaving. My DH and were last at Disney 15 years ago and this is our first family trip and on the road to boot. I am making lists and starting to put stuff aside so I feel more ready than I am.
