Calling all itinerary experts . . .

Please let me know which looks better. We are a family of 5. Our children are 14, 11, and 8 and we are early risers. We have park hopper passes. Our favorite parks are MK and MGM, as well as the Water parks. (This is our second trip to Disney.) At first we were going to avoid the early entry parks, as some of the guides suggested; however, we are now rethinking this due to some trip reports stating a lot can be accomplished in the early hours.

1st Plan
Fri May 13 day of arrival - EPCOT
Sat May 14 MGM
Sun May 15 MK
Mon May 16 Typhoon Lagoon - ?
Tues May 17 DQ - AK
Wed May 18 BB/MK
Thurs May 19 MK
Fri May 20 MGM (?? or whatever we want to do again)

2nd Plan (hitting early entry hours and then hopping)
Fri May 13 day of arrival - EPCOT
Sat May 14 AK then MGM
Sun May 15 MGM then MK
Mon May 16 Typhoon Lagoon - ?
Tues May 17 DQ - MK (Wishes/Spectro)
Wed May 18 Blizzard Beach - ?
Thurs May 19 Epcot then MK
Fri May 20 MK then ??

Any opinions? Suggestions?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think if you are earlier risers I hit up the morning EMH-- possibly throw in a few evening ones too. However, I'd possibly park hop by lunchtime if the park gets too crowded.
