Calling all ING experts!

Okay what is going on? I referred my friend Stacy and got the $10. She tried to refer her kids and they told her since they are under 18 and she is a joint acct holder she would not get the $10 for referring them? It sounds to me like many people on here are referring their kids and getting the bonus so how are you doing it? I did it with no problem so is this new policy? Please advise!

Did she add her information as a secondary account holder when she signed them up?

Yes she had to use her checking acct to link their accounts so she gave her info as joint acct holder. They do not have checking accts of their own.

I received a referal bonus for both of my kids when I opened an ING account for them. I put the kids as the Primary account holder and me as the secondary. Both of my children had their initial deposit debited right out of my checking account which was already verified with ING so that can't be the reason

Yep....worked for me when I referred my kids too. I signed them up as Primary with me as Secondary. I got the bonus $$ the next day. I linked all accounts to one checking account in my name.

I was able to sign up my kiddos as well. Just remember after you check joint, it will take you to another page ONLY answer the 3 or 4 questions at the top do not fill out the whole page or it will not work
