Calling all Fireman wives!!!

Yawn, yawn, yawn!!!!!!

We had some big storms that came over our house, and they had some very loud thundercracks that really scared the girls (about 4:10am). They came into our room and laid on the floor together and I've been up ever since I was able to get the girls to go back into their own beds, and Katie fell asleep and is still asleep, but Stephanie is still up. She's currently laying on the couch watching Playhouse Disney. I told her that she's going to bed super early tonight (I think I will too )

Karen - Sorry, I don't hire my cleaning out I hate it so much!!!!! I feel so glad about getting it done though, because now I don't have to worry about it for about a week (that week will come soon though I know )

Question: What is player pitch? Since you said he "moved up" it must be a great thing. Tell him I said Congrats!!!!

What a nice sunny morning
I loved waking up to sun - it always starts the day off right


No to much going on here, in fact, I'm just staying home again until it's time to go to church. Which is fine, because Ms.Katie woke up with a little cold this morning. Kevin though, is taking Ms. Stephanie to Home Depot this morning, to do another activity. I'm not sure what they are making today (neither is he) but it doesn't matter because Stephanie loves to go!!!


So, what is everyone else doing this weekend????

Today I am going for the MRI on my knees.
I'm going to be at the hospital for about 3 hours this morning into early afternoon. I wish I could read something while doing this, but I just have to lay there. Oh well, I'll just close my eyes and relax.

I'm going today to get my MRI results - I'm a little nervous (biting my nails)
I already know there's a problem, because the technician called me yesterday and said, "The Radiologist sees areas of concern and he wants to know if you've had trauma to your knees or surgery to your knees." I told her no - so we'll see what the area of concern is in about 6 hours.

Well, there's not much to report from the doctors office today

The MRI results show nothing wrong with the right knee, and a possible stress fracture with the left knee. But if there's nothing wrong with the right knee, than why is it making as much noise as the left knee, and have pain?

My doctor told me to go to an Orthopedic, and he was happy that I already made an appointment. I told him who I was going to, and he was happy because it is also his Orthopedic.

I told him that my OB suggested that I ask him about me having a connective tissue disorder due to the problem also with my hands. He said that it is a high possibility, and for me to mention this to my Orthopedic, because this would be more his area of expertise. If the doctor suspects this to be the problem, then I will have to take more tests for him to make a diagnosis.

Here I thought 2007 was going to bring me better health, but it's not looking to good . I will just have to deal with this one step at a time.

Now onto chores - I feel like I'm always doing chores.

Hi! Sorry I have been MIA! I got out of my groove during the last week & am having trouble getting going again!

slo - I hope Katie's cold is better! I can relate to how Stephanie feels - I am a crab on Monday mornings too!! I hope everything goes well with your ortho! Did you fall asleep during your MRI? If I had to be still for 3 hours, I would be asleep!!!

PLayer pitch baseball is just that - a kid pitches. The last two years he has been in coach pitched - much easier to hit. So he has some big changes this year.
I am still waiting to hear about an interview for this VA job. I have not given up hope! Everything moves slowly with the government.

It think today we are going to celebrate the excitement of going out to dinner tonight We haven't been out to dinner in forever. I think we are going to Joe's Crab Shack Then we are going to go to the mall and visit the Easter Bunny, and then we are going to the Disney Store to buy a birthday present for a friend of Stephanie (she's going to the party tomorrow).

For any of you that lurk I wanted to let you know that our dear friend Kathy (eeyoresmountainpals) is very sick in the hospital. If you could all keep her in your thought and prayers, I would appreciate it. She's a wonderful person, who has been with us on this thread for a very long time. She can use all your prayers right now - thanks!!!!!

Kathy - When you are home and read this, I want you to know that I'm thinking about you all the time. I've been keeping you in my prayers to feel better soon, and to come home soon. I luv ya!!!!!!

Stephanie came home from school yesterday with awesome news ---- SHE PASSED HER LEVEL 4 TIME TEST!!!!! This was such wonderful news because she has now met the goal for the year (imagine me wiping me brow with a towel). So, to congratulate her, we let her make a new Build-A-Bear at the mall, and she made a cute pink kitty.



Dinner at Joe's Crab Shack was very yummy I had my coconut shrimp and I was happy!!!!

Congratualtions to Steph!!!! That is AWESOME! I'm glad dinner was good!
Jim & I went to see 300. It was overwhelming. It's hard to describe - very good. It is very violent and has nudity. I couldn't belive some people brought their young kids! They must be scarred for life!
We got some exciting news about Emily. She is going to be inducted into the Junoir National Honor Society next week! This is the first year they have inducted sixth graders & she's one os them! I haven't told her becasue whne Sarah got in, it was supposed to be a secret. So until I hear otherwise, I am going to keep it a secret.

James & I are going today to watch Haley play softball. Emily doesn't get home from her slumber party intil 3pm.

Happy Sunday! It is a beautiful sunny day here, too!

Kathy - I hope you are improving!!

We went for a bike ride today - I am trying to take the weight loss seriously! If I ever had a doubt that Emily is my child, she proved it today! She had a huge bike wipe out that ended with me riding over her! You see, I am not graceful, and obviously she isn't either!! We weren't hurt too badly - scrapes, bruises. We have been laughing about the incident! Jim just shook his head when we got home!!

Jim has now said that if I get this new job I can start planning our next trip to the World! So now I really want the job!!!! He said he would even go!! If it works out, then I think we will splurge a little & get the dining plan. I will need lots of restaurant suggestions!
