Happy Monday everyone!

The kids are on a two hour delay today. I have to be to work on time so A.J. and Andrew are going to have to go to work with me and then I'll run them over to school when it's time. They don't mind. They can take a dvd player and they have the backroom to themselves!

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the red but the more I looked at her in it the more I loved it!

Red was my wedding color, and if they had something like this when I got married, I probably would have worn this myself Very beautiful!!!!

I told her that by changing to red it's going to make everything else so much easier to match up!

Did I ask you when the exact date was? If I did, and you told me, I'm sorry that I forgot already. If I didn't ask, when is the date?

It's May 19th...three months from today!!!

We are still really cold up here But....the weather people are claiming that we should be seeing some 40's later this week I sure hope they are right - I hate the cold

We're supposed to be warming up today and in the mid-40's tomorrow with rain. We ended up with quite a bit of snow between Saturday and yesterday. If it rains Tuesday it'll all be gone!

I hope your boys enjoy playing in the snow today - Stephanie just loves it!!! Katie, on the other hand, does not Yesterday Stephanie went out alone, and Katie asked if she could stay in and watch a movie

They ended up deciding not to go out yesterday. I think they're getting a little old - young enough to enjoy it but old enough not to want to hassle with all the clothing, the cold, etc. Katie sounds a little like A.J. He always wants to go out, but once he's out he gets cold and is content to come in and watch a movie and have a cup of hot chocolate.

Summer must be around the corner

I went to Kohls today and all the spring/summer clothes are out. Just seeing them made me happy to know that winter isn't forever (because sometimes it feels like forever )

I bought myself a new pair of jeans in a size smaller than what I currently have. I guess all this exercising and retraining my healthy eating habits is paying off The scale says I only lost 5lbs, but I can see myself getting more toned up, and that's more important to me than actual weight

Well, I'm off to make supper so Kevin can put it in the oven while I"m running errands later on.

Today is Ash Wednesday - is anyone else Catholic here?
If so...what are you giving up for Lent?
Stephanie and I are doing one together - we are giving up music in the car. This will be a real sacrifice for both of us - but we'll be alright. The way time flies for me lately, Easter will be here before I know it

What wonderful sunshine after such a foggy morning

I just got done feeding Katie and I lunch, and now she is down for nap I have some things to do around the house, and then I have to start thinking about making an early meal, because we have church tonight at 7pm. For dinner tonight I am making Market Days Crispy Crunchy Cod and twice baked pototoes (I've never made twice baked potatoes so I'm hoping I do it right (fingers crossed) ) and corn.

I went to the doctor this morning so he could check me out after that sore throat I had, and to give me the script to go get the MRI done on my knees. There was a student doctor there (a lady) and he had her come look at my hands (because I have Raynauds which some of you heard me talk about) and this week has been a really bad week for my hands. She came and looked at them and talked with me about them for about 15 minutes. She said that she learned about this in school, but never talked to a patient about it, and she wanted to kinda interview me about them (she was so sweet - she will make a great doctor). She then gave me a little heat pack that she carries around with her and told me to keep it. She said you can buy them at Sams Club by the camping items. So when I left I put it inside me glove, and it really did keep my hand toasty warm. I'm going to take a drive to Sam's Club soon to get some more so I can put them in my gloves on super cold days, like the ones we just had (even though I wear my gloves until temps reach over 55-60 degrees, but a heat pack will only be necessary on super cold days). So that was my morning

Well, we made it home last night!! The trip was great - very crowded, but still great!!!
We never saw the Dream Team, so I guess it is good that I packed and didn't rely on Mickey to have clothes for us in the castle suite!!

We still had many dream moments!! Emily got picked to help with the fire scene on the Backlot Tour. James got to open the Animal Kingdom and got a special Fastpass for all six of us. I think our most magical was at the MK. We stayed for emh which ended at 3am. We saw Mickey & Minnie together for pics, but there was a line so we went to Small World and Peter Pan (no lines of course - 2:30 am!). When we finsihed Mickey & Minnie were gone! We decided to ride the carousel - and discovered that Mickey & Minnie were riding! So we waited (no line) to ride and grab a picture as they left the ride. Haley got her picture, the characters left and the kids rode. It was now about 2:55. As they rode, Chip came up to Dumbo. As they exited the ride, they ran to Dumbo to see Chip! Well, before we knew it James was on Dumbo with Chip, Emily was riding with Pluto and Haley was riding with Goofy!!! Sarah got left out in the shuffle (Mickey & Minnie rode with some adults) and was just brokenhearted, but it was still magical! She had her moment later because she was the only kid old enough to do the Segway class at Epcot. Oh, and our Disney Visa picture time was with Mickey & Minnie in their YOAMD outfits!!! I will post more later!!!

Kathy - the dress is beautiful!! Will the bridesmaids where red?

Sandy - we've been so focused on the trip that we haven't made out Lent plans!

I'm glad you had a wonderful time and the kids had alot of exciting things happen It also sounds like you had alot of character encounters, which is awesome!!!! I don't care how old I am - I still love the characters

I always love Fridays so much!!!!
I love the fact that I don't have to rush around for 2 days trying to get Stephanie out the door to school Now if her teacher wouldn't give her any homework for one weekend - now that would be nice!!!!

It always amazes me how Katie sleeps in during the week, but on the weekends she wakes up early Luckily, she will lay in bed with us, but she figets so much that I never go back to sleep I guess I shouldn't complain, because I know I will be sad someday when she doesn't climb in bed with us anymore

I watch Memoirs of a Geisha last night, and it was really good There are no subtitles, which I was really happy about

Well, I hope you enjoy your day! I am at work! It has been so busy lately!
Sarah is very excited, she is going to see Kenny Chesney tomorrow night. He does a college tour every year and the tickets are only $10. She is pretty pumped!

Our temps have been in the 70s. We will probably get some more cold (or at least what we think is cold), but I am enjoying the warm temps!

Well, our lunch break is almost over! Back to the grind....

I am so embarrassed to say that I have been the worlds biggest BUM today I sat down on my favorite part of the couch at 12 noon and read a couple of magazines. Then I decided to watch some tv. So I watched RV and then when that was over I watched Gone With the Wind (my favorite movie) until 5pm. Then I thought, "Hmmmmmm..............E! is on from the red carpet " So I watched that Then after that The Academy Awards started, and that's where I'm at right now I gotta tell ya, I really needed a lazy day like this today

Now, Stephanie is messing with a loose tooth that she is determined to get out TONIGHT I make this face because I don't know if I have any singles to give her from the tooth fairy. I think a $10 bill is a little much for a tooth

I was up way to late last night watching The Academy Awards
When I was watching the show, I was DISing to keep myself awake.
But the problem with that is, then I can't go to sleep because my mind is racing
So.....now I'm tired

Did you all watch The Oscars?
I was so very glad that Jennifer Hudson won
I haven't seen DreamGirls, but what a great Cinderella story for her
I was also thrilled to see Martain Scorcese win - I'm a big fan!!!

Well, I guess I should get ready for work
I'm not working out today - I'm to tired

Hey! We worked until after 9 last night and I was just too tired to watch TV! I will have to see who won on the internet today! We saw 84 patients yesterday. Tonight will probably be pretty bad, too. I am still hoping to get an interview for this new job. Keep your fingers crossed!

Things are fine here - nothing to exciting going on.

I decided I"m staying home today - alone
Stephanie is going to school, and Katie is going to daycare, and therefore, I'm going to turn the music up high, and do some serious cleaning around the house without interuptions This way I will get it all done, and then I don't have to worry about it for awhile.

Karen - I"m sorry you've been so busy at work I am hoping you get that interview Please keep me posted on what happens.

I cleaned so much yesterday that my back hurts and me hands hurts from ringing my rag out while scrubbing floors. I even pulled out my fridge and cleaned behind there, and good thing I did. All I can do is make this face to describe the dirt back there. I still have work to do today because I didn't have time to finish yesterday. But, it's very little - I just need to vaccuum and dust upstairs.
