Hi, My name is Pam and I am obsessive compulsive.. ;) :rotfl2: We are in final countdown stages :hourglass and I am rapidly losing control!!! :earseek: I need some sage advise....Take a look at my Grand Plan and tell my what you guys think.

Me (37), DH (30), DS (9), DS (3)
CBR

Tues, 6/7 - Travel Day from Mobile, AL. Leave by 6am, est 7 to 8 hours travel time. Best Western Resort @ DTD this night. Just chill by the pool and check out DTD.

Wed, 6/8 - Check in CBR early am. Head over to MK via Monorail (bus to Epcot). Head back to CBR when room ready. Pool, nap and unpack time. Have AR at Chef Mickey's 7:10pm. BTW EMH's @ MK - open until 1am. Head back to MK after dinner.

Thurs, 6/9 - Epcot Day (EMH open til Midnight) Sleep in. Breakfast at Port Royale @ CBR. Explore Epcot. Have AR at Marrakesh 6pm.

Friday, 6/10 - MGM/STAR WARS - Early day. I know, I know. I am crazy I admit it. Even the 3 year old is a Star Wars freak.....But I managed a 7:05 AR at 50's PrimeTime Diner (called back last night!) .

Sat, 6/11 - AK Day - Try to get there for EMH in the am. Have AR @ Boma @ 7:00.

Sun, 6/12 - Last chance day.

So what do you guys think . Yes, we are adventurous when it comes to eating, including the kids. We really don't have park touring plans, but I do have a general idea of what we don't want to miss.

Thanks in advance :teeth:

I hope you have a wonderful first trip! The only part of your plan that sends up my warning flag is the early morning on Friday after your late EMH on Thursday. At this point in the trip, fatigue may be playing a factor in general. Adding an early morning after a late night towards the end of the trip might be tough unless your family has boundless energy. I don't think I could do it  .

Looks like we'll be there at the same time :wave2: .

That is one of my iffy issues as well. We most probably won't stay much longer after Illuminations.
Awesome :jumping1: , Where will you guys be staying?

We stay offsite (Homewood Suites) because we take Cassie (the Pug). We tried the campgrounds at FtW last trip in a pet loop, but quickly found out that we're not cut out for RVing ;) so back to offsite Suites for us :rotfl2: . Our plan is directly opposite of yours and we will avoid EMH like the plague and hope for the best. I can't wait...it's getting so close!

:rotfl: I'm not much of a camper/rv'er either.....We left town when Hurricaine Ivan hit (reason for June trip and not Xmas trip) and ended up on a mountain in Arkansas :earseek: :earseek: I was really sweating it..but then found a cabin to rent :rotfl2: ....needless to say DH was miffed at first....but when we got back home to no power for three days he was glad I'm wimp!!! :flower:

So EMH at the parks is really a nightmare????

I agree that early Fri am might be pushing it. Otherwise, it looks awesome and you should have fun!

Here's some advice:

When you check into CBR, if your room is not ready, get your unactivated room key. While your at the MK stop into guest services and use a house phone to see if your room is ready. If so, find out your room number and have them activate your room key while your on the phone. That way you won't have to stop back to the main bld, you can go directly to your room!

Some Star Wars advice: many of the activitied require registration that day.

Oh, I don't know about that....I've read mixed reviews. I just want to avoid them because of staying offsite. My strategy is to go to the park that has EMH evening, the night before, on the day after and hope that everyone who's onsite sleeps in ;) . I'm doing MK on Thursday (between the evening EMH on Wednesday and the morning EMH on Friday) and MGM on the following Monday for the same reason. Epcot we're doing friday morning. I've always avoided EMH when they just had them in the mornings and have had very good luck with the crowds. I'm hoping it holds true for this trip!
