CALLING ALL DIS'ers! Advance needed in the PRE-Pre-Trip Report!

Hi there

Like many of you on here I'm one of those people who likes to start planning EARLY in order to make sure everything is as perfect as possible.

Well, here's what I know so far:
- I'll be going to Florida sometime over February 14th in 2014
- There will just be me and my DBF on this trip
- We'll be staying for 7 nights
- We'll be staying at a mod

So because it's a little too early to start my pre-trip report (especially considering I have another trip before this one ) I thought the best thing to do to kick start my planning would be to come on here and ask all of you for a little help!

The dates aren't too much of an issue because we can pretty much go any date around the 14th depending on price/what's available etc So my main dilemma atm is where to stay. As it's looking at the moment (mainly due to the prices for these dates in 2013) we have four options:

- Port Orlean's French Quarter
- Port Orlean's Riverside
- Coronado Springs
- Caribbean Beach Resort

Now before you all bombard me with links to the threads already on here I have already bookmarked the links to them and will of course use them to help us make our decision, they are VERY helpful. But what I'm looking for is more of a compare/contrast from those of you who may have stayed at one or more of those resorts. I'm specifically interested in things such as:

- Bus times to and from the parks
- The size of the rooms (we will only be having a standard)
- The view from a standard room (as I've heard French Quarter looks onto a car park which I'm not too keen on)
- Bus times from MCO if anyone has experience of this?

Anyway, you get the point lol I would appreciate any help you could give me and will be posting back here with the next dilemma when it arises I have my notebook all ready to jot down any hints or tips you could give me to make our resort choice a little easier!
