So - I want to redo my bedroom, and I really need creative help/advice. I know I want to theme it with something from WDW, but I'm not sure what. I'm thinking something in MK, but not sure. My mom said I can paint, as long as I do it and she doesn't have to ;), so that's not an issue.. Currently, my room has baby blue walls, purple curtains, and I have a purple comforter on my bed. Most of my furniture is white, except for my dresser which is natural wood (which I might paint to match the others). Other than that, there's no real theme or structure. It's a nice sized room (not big, not tiny) and I can't spend lots of $$, but I'm sure that I can do something to it to make it really cool!! Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated :) TIA!! :thumbsup2

Well, your favorite character seems to be Stitch. I know that at places like Home Depot, they have all the Disney paint colors and I believe they had one relating to Stitch. Besides that, I am not good with decorating anything but good luck and hope the room turns out AWESOME!!!

You could always theme it around your favorite movie.
My mammal helped me decorate my room, it's like a PB Teen decorated room... not really Disney themed.

that has the "four parks, one world" message? They usually have the four park icons and mickey. Well, you could do something based on that.

You could get posters or make some really big stickers of Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, the Sorcerer Hat, and the Tree of Life. You put one on each wall. But first you paint the walls a color that won't look like it's blending in to the posters/pictures so they stand out a little more, like purple. After the paint dries then you can put the stuff up. Then you can make mickey mouse heads out of paper or cardstock and you can write or paint "four parks one world" on it. You could use one of them to put on your door that says something like, "your name's room". If you want to change your comforter, you can get a sparkly one to add to the "magic" feel of the room. And then where each poster is you get more mickey heads and you write the names of your favorite rides, shows, and/or restaurants in that park. You could also get some of those shirts and make them into pillows By cutting off the sleeves, filling it with whatever you want and sewing it together. As a finaltouch if you have any "four parks one world" merchandise you can display it on shelves or you desk.

Sorry if it sounds sort of like I'm directing you or commanding you, it's just how I'm coming up with stuff. Hope this helps!

if you want to go even bigger you can find a picture of main street usa walking toward cinderella castle an blow it up on your wall. i think that would look sweet good luck!

Yeah Stitch is my favorite character, and I have looked at the paint samples.. I have a stack in my room of like 15 of them! It's just about finding the perfect one! :thumbsup2

I have thought about doing an Alice in Wonderland theme, because I love that movie - we'll see!

Thanks to you both for the help!

I didn't take your advice that way - it was very helpful, and along the lines of what I was thinking. I thought about the "Four Parks, One World" thing, and thought about putting each one on a wall.. It didn't even occur to me to put pics of my favorite rides/shows/restaurants from each park in frames on the walls - that's an awesome idea! It makes it way more personal, and makes it feel like I'm "home" at WDW. :) Thanks for the awesome help - I think I'll probably go with something like that!

I think I might do that for the MK wall in my room, because I think that would be pretty awesome!

Thanks to you both for the help! I'll be sure to post pictures once it is alllllll done, that way, if anyone else is doing room makeovers, maybe I can be helpful to them!! Thanks again to everyone for helping me! I think I know what I'm going to do now!! :cool1::banana:

I know I might be a little late, but I would leave the walls baby blue, buy white curtains, paint your ceiling the same baby blue color, find a way to paint the castle on one wall, maybe paint some mickey head balloons on the walls, paint the Disney logo, you know the curly cue letters "Walt Disney World" in gold on one wall, paint the monorail on another wall, AND THEN buy stitch stuff, Stitch pillows, Stitch plushes, Stitch poster, because if you may remember back when Stitch had first come out, he was A HUGE part of the parks, narrating part of the monorail ride, appearing all around the parks. That's my idea!
