any opinions out there as to the best room in the contemporary with castle view? any info on best consierge/club room? thanks.

Hi Blanche, we were lucky enough to get both views when we went last year. We wanted a MK view but arrived too late. I called the next morning before we went to MGM and they said they would reserve one for us. Just go ahead and pack your bags. Sure enough when we got back from MGM around 2pm our bags were in our new MK view room. It was great.

We took a lagoon view by choice, since fireworks were only going to be one night. It was nice, we watched the Electric Water Pageant from the balcony each night. You could see Epcot off in the distance to the right. The kids could yell to us from the slide at the pool.

Fireworks one night? We saw them every night at the MK. Also forgot to mention we were at the CR during MNSSHP. You could see the castle change colors every 5 minutes or so. It was awesome.

I stayed on the MK Side of the Club Level, and really enjoyed it!!! I really love the Contemporary, it such an awesome place! It was my "childhood dream" to stay at the Contemporary tower, and it did not disappoint. And, I'd definetly stay there again! (If I didn't love the Grand so much, I'd stay there really soon!)

Magic Kingdom view Tower Club here too! LOVED IT! fireworks everynight, they were even having a fireworks convention in the hotel and had an AWESOME display one night, it went on forever!

But, you really cannot beat watching that castle change every five minutes or so, it really is magical!

We just had a wing room with a castle view but it was nothing like the tower.

thanks for the info everyone. one more question, please. in the club level rooms, are there double sinks on the outside of the bathroom (like in the grand floridian)?

no, there is one sink in a room (entry part) with the tub, then one sink in a room (via the tub room) with the toilet. :)

when we arrived we had a lagoon view, just went and asked the concierge if they could help us out and the next day we were moved to a MK view when the room opened up.

they were also wonderful in getting us dinning, when we showed up the first day we decided to eat in the CR rather than stay late in the park, and the only question they asked is what time we wanted our PS at Chief Mickeys for :-)
