Calling all Cheerleaders!!

Just a thread to talk about cheerleading (recreational, competitive, school, or for a sports team)!!

I am doing Competitive. My First year as a competitive cheerleader but i have cheered alot in my life before. I personally love it and I have a strong opion about it. If you ask me if cheerleading is a sport.. will, without a doubt, say YES! and be able to support my answer and back it up.

So what's you opion on it?
DO you Cheer?
If, so do you do it for a Competitive Company?

i take cheerleading at my school
i love cheerleading
but....
hate my squad and the program and the coach is awefull
i can't wait till next year and we get a new coach and program

I think Cheerleading is a sport.

I used to cheer competitively for this one club but all the girl were real rude and snobby so i quit now i do dance

I signed up for Cheerleading last Summer.
I quit before they started.
I was 13,we were going to be cheering for 8 year olds.


I think it is a sport and support it.
I just don't cheer.

I don't really like cheerleading. I'm not one but some of my friends are.

Just my opinion but I personally don't really like it because I've heard its getting to be the most dangerous sport and you need to be bubbly and hyper 24/7. But I give cheerleaders props because what they do isn't easy.

Yeah it is really dangerous and quite frightening at points, but i am definately not one of those bubbly OMG people 24/7...that's annoying.
