Calling all CBR experts!!

We have reservations at the CBR in December. Martinique #21 with a water view.
Can any CBR expert advise as to the location of this building to the beach...and do you know if the water view will be pool/lake??

Looks like building 21 is not directly facing the lake. I could be wrong though.

Martinique 21 isn't near either the main pool or quiet pool, so I'm assuming it would be a view of the lake. It does look like one corner of the building would have a view of the lake, though, so I'm assuming you'd be in that part of the building closest to the lake.

Since your trip is so far away, how are they able to let you know NOW that you'll be in Martinique 21? Or was this just what you have requested?? I'm really curious! LOL

Thanks for the replies. I originally had reservations through CRO and requested Martinique however I had no specific building number. After I became a DC member, I switched my reservations to them for the discount and was given Martinique #21. This is also listed on my confirmation that I received.
Will be looking at the codes as they are published for this time period so #21 may not be what I end up with...but is what I currently have.

I wasn't aware that they assigned rooms/buildings before check-in. Are you sure the information you were given is accurate? Do you have it in writing WDW that you actually have been assigned to this building??? How exciting! I was always told that requests MAY be granted but not guarranteed and that room assignments are not given until you check in. We have even tried calling 24 hours before and they could not tell us!

Yes it is in writing....Martinique #21 on my confirmation.

We stayed in Martinique building 22, room 2242 in Feb and had a great view of the lake, we were also steps from the quiet pool. I would definately request that one again ( We paid for a standard room not water view)

Just wanted to mention that we have had room requests printed on our confirmation letter before but it still did not guarantee that we would get that location. Sometimes they put our requests on the confirmation and sometimes they don't - based on our experiences it doesn't seem to matter whether the room requests are on the confirmation or not. It doesn't seem to make it more or less likely that your requests will be honored. Just didn't want you to be disappointed at check-in.
