OKAY I AM LEAVING ANY DAY NOW. JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE LEAST THAT YOU HAVE SPEND. ON FOOD AND SOUVINERS WHILE YOU WERE THERE AND HOW MANY DAYS WERE YOU THERE FOR. WE WILL BE THERE TEN DAYS AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW GOOD I CAN DO. ITS FOUR OF US DH, DD(11), DS(5), MYSELF. DONT GET ME WRONG WE STILL WANT TO HAVE A BLAST.
COME ON LETS HEAR IT.

WE ARE STAYING AT ASMO BUT EVERYTHING IS PAID FOR HOTEL, CAR RENTAL, AND TICKETS. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE PROS HAVE SPENT ON FOOD AND SOUVINERS. WE ALL LIKE TO HAVE SOME TYPE OF BUDGET. I WANT TO KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE TO CONTROL MYSELF LIKE YOU GUYS

I usually budget $50 a day for food and souvineers. That is for one adult and two kids, 10 and 8. We usually have at least two character meals, a couple of sit down lunches, and the rest counter service. I do take food in a cooler but nothing too elaborate. We usually eat breakfast in the room and a couple of lunches. I would rather spend my time doing things rather than eating.

I would think that $50-$100/day would be a good range to budget, unless you plan on eating at a lot of sit down restaurants.

The pizza at ASMo is good and fairly inexpensive by Disney standards. It feeds us and we have leftovers for later. Pick it up in the food court rather than having it delivered.

On our last trip in November 2002, we averaged $18/person/day for food. It was myself, my wife and my 7 yo daughter. We ate breakfast in the room - cereal, pop-tarts, etc. We carried snacks into the parks. We mostly ate at counter service restaurants. We also ate at Boma and Beaches and Cream.

We go to WDW often (7 times in last 9 years) and we (2 adults/2 toddlers) budget $100 dollars a day for expenses (drinks, food, and souveniers). Sometimes we come home with extra which covers the days we do special sit-down meals/character deals. This excludes the souvenier my husband and I each buy ourselves which can be pricy (I personally am a fan of pearl jewelry and disney has great prices/selection! and my husband loves their ties/coats!)...We are going again in July for 2 weeks and am budgeting 1500.

We average $100 for two adults per day for food, drinks, and snacks. We budget extra for souvenirs.

We average about $100 per day for food (family of 4 Me DH, DD8 and DS 11) . Except on character breakfast day we eat breakfast in the room, cereal, oatmeal, poptarts, bagels, etc. We usually have a late lunch and round things out with things like easy mac and Ragu express, PB and J, coldcuts in the room, etc. We are DVC so that makes quick prep in the room easier. The kids get a set budget for souvies and when it is gone it is gone. They are much more controlled with their own money. We go a lot so the need for souvies for DH and I are not that high--an occasional pricey collectable but no junk! We always have at least one very nice (expensive) meal per each week we spend at WDW, but with averages that still works out to our $100 per day.

We also figure $100 a day for food on average, but some days we spend $40 and the next we might spend $150... Thats a nice thing about WDW, you can spend as much or as little as you wish...

Food budget is about $100/day for 2 adults & 2 children. Includes a light breakfast and lunch with a nice sit-down dinner.
