Calling all band geeks....

Just wondering if anyone here was at the Heritage Music Festival in Washington D.C. last weekend......I was!!! Awesome time, we won first, but missed a superior by ONE POINT!!! Our score was a 90,90, and 88. Curse you third judge!!!! Explanation: A superior rating, the best, is 90 and up, we ended up with an 89, which put us at excellent, even if we did win first place in our division. But anyways......anyone else there?

Nope. I wish we went. But sadly, my school would never leave the state for a field trip. A prime example of how poor we are.


BTW, congrats on your rating! It's always the third judge that is the meanest. Same thing happened when we played at the High Notes Music Festival. That darn third judge didn't give us that one point we needed.

Yeah, I definitely understand the "not a lot of money" thing. Heck, our school is called MillBROKE (it's really Millbrook). Washington was the BEST!!! I had sooooo much fun.
