This is us in two weeks!!!

For the last few weeks my little Sarah has been watching the Two Palms cam to wait for the Magic. We smile from ear-to-ear as she sees the ship she is dancing, jumping and screaming DISNEY SHIP, It's the DISNEY SHIP!!



This is by far going to be the best cruise ever for us. Woo Hoo.

We can't wait to get the party started. We were all in our living room pretending to be on deck 9 during the sailaway party as they play

Hello All,
Can we come join in the fun?
I'm Kris and will be traveling with my DH - Ken, DS(13) - Taylor, and DD(10) - Alyssa. It'll be our very first cruise!
We were supposed to have been on the Magic this past week but had to cancel due to my FIL passing away. We were lucky enough to find room on this cruise, with it being a double dip it's just a bonus.
Anyway, we'll be in stateroom 8006 and have late seating (all that was left!)
We are very excited about this much needed vacation and look forward to meeting some new friends (even if we sometimes get a little shy )
Oh, also, my DS(13) is interested in communicating with other 13 year old boys if others are interested.
I think that's about all for now.

Welcome aboard ! I will add you to our stateroom list. I am so sorry about your loss. We are going through the same situation now. My MIL found out just before July 4th she has Acute Myeloid Leukemia and was given only 1-6 weeks to live. Bless her heart she is still hanging on. It's an emotional roller coaster. Glad you found room on this cruise, alot of fun people in this group.

I just came back from the store and noticed the milk I bought had a exp. date of Aug. 18th on it. Never thought I be sooooo happy to see that.

If you don't hold onto the "tag" too long, we might be able to guarantee everyone getting the "tag" at least twice. We will go by the stateroom list. If you do not want to participate, please PM me and I will put a ** next to your name. Before cruise you can copy the list for your use. This is what the tag will look like.

Terry: I confess everytime we would go to the store Brooke would beat me to the milk aisle to see the date first. I have been waiting for this !!! Brooke is babysitting, so I had to run to the store...........all I can say is I got to the milk first. Sad I know.

Haven't starting packing yet but I've started putting some things in a pile, DD can use another bathing suit and DH probably needs a few things yet

OMG My "lost at Sea" buddies et al have found their way to 10,000 posts. You guys are It seems like a lot of new friendships were made

Tina, I like the tag game, maybe if we realize we are with a nice group on the Explorer of the seas next year, we can do the same. But we have to feel them out first.

I am leaving in a week for St Pete Beach and I haven't packed a single thing, I haven't even brought my suitcases upstairs.

Bev, I'm jealous, I so want to go in September with you, but have a great time without me. Don't let the thought of me working while you are sunning ruin your cruise. Are you still going Princess? or did you cancel that because of the recent "list"?

I hope someone does a "live from the Magic" if they did it with pictures that would be awesome.

Anyway, I'll stop in before I leave to wish you all smooth sailing on your upcoming 10 night cruise.

KRIS.. I have a 13 yr old son as well.. He is at camp right now so I will let him know about your son...When are you getting to FLORIDA... will you be at the RADISSON the night before? Alot of people got to kow each other that way before the cruise as well...

Andy, just thought of something I meant to say this morning..

The saying is "as giddy as a school girl" and we use it all the time here!

I presume you all know the word giddy!

My mom used to say to me " I was like a hen on a hot griddle" cause I was always rushing here and there.

My favouite was from my father.. if we got something nice from someone he would say it was like "America at home!".. it was in reference to a time when a lot of Irish emigrated and sent parcels home to their family here.. there was great excitment as all kinds of new and wonderful things would arrive from America.

Ginny: We're landing at around 5pm on Friday night, so we won't be going to dinner at Grills with everyone else. Hopefully we'll be at the Radisson around 6pm or so, as long as our flight's on time!

Joanna: There's a chance that we'll be going on the RCI cruise next summer too

Gosh, thank you for all the warm welcomes!

Shirley - my kids perked up at the ages of your DS and DD and then hearing about Doreen's son was exciting too!

Doreen - We're staying at the airport Marriott the night before. Our flight from California doesn't get in til late on Friday so it'll be easier for us to just stay there.

Terry - we lived in Massachusetts for 5 years, specifically in Hopkinton (start of the marathon!) We're native Californians, so it's kind of funny that, as a result of living in Mass for those years, we're now a hockey family of all things.

It's so nice to think that in exactly 2 weeks time, we'll be sitting in one of the dining rooms enjoying our first cruise dinner!

Back from the beach. I've got a mountain of laundry almost as tall as my kids. At least on DCL you don't have to pack sheets and towels.

Hopefully we'll get our docs tomorrow.
