Calling all 2005 WISH Walkers!

I just found you all, too. I missed the picture and was kind of a lurker on your threads but it was great to know you were out there anyway. I too, have fallen off the wagon and I believe it ran over me. I remember my excitement and sense of accomplishment last year at this time. I need to tap into it and get moving again. I don't think I will be back at WDW for a long time. My trip was kind of a one time shot. Maybe in a couple of years. I juss need to credit all of you for helping a couch potato run/walk a 1/2 marathon. I am going to shoot to do another this summer close by. Loved the feeling. Need it back.. Best of luck to all of you!!

Becky, you took the words right out of my mouth! I just read the current WISH teams final thread in the Competition area of WISH. I WISH I were there! Maybe another time!

Well my friends, I will be doing the deed this weekend. I will give a cheer or two for everyone staying behind keeping the WISH fires burning. Thanks for all your positive thoughts while I try to do my thing. I am registered for both, hope to do them too! Gonna try

TammyNC told our buddy group that the "Penquin" is actually doing the Goofy challenge this year !

So has anyone made a definite decision about the 2007 half/full marathon yet? I have been reading about the events of today and yesterday and now I am really thinking I will sign up for the half again next year. I saw that registration is open already. I will probably make a definite decision in the next few weeks and I am going to see if I can convince any of my sisters to come with me this time, otherwise I will probably be coming alone. It would be great to reunite with our 2005 group again. It was so much fun training with you guys and meeting you all.

Bev I started wearing my bracelet again, hopefully that will help keep me motivated!

Susan I continue to keep you in my prayers. Hope you are still doing good!

Hello everyone This is just a heads up that the 2007 registration is up and running. I'm getting ready to register myself and a friend of mine. We have a little challenge going between the both of us so I cannot whimp out. Initially I was going to run the full but since my friend really does not like to run and this is his first marathon, I said I would stick by his side and cross the finish line together running the 1/2. So off I go to register...good luck everyone let the training and fun begin

I'm signing up Cheryl and I'm bringing a load of friends from the DDA board with me! You'll love these people- go check them out and introduce yourself- you'll have instant friends! Maybe we can get them to design the shirts this year?!?!!? Jim (DH) is coming again too- this time he will be (hopefully) backpack -less! I'm trying to get some of the Canada group to join us, but so far it doesn't look good I'll bet Lily will be there again- unless she feels she has nothing left to win- which is true! And as you can see Kimmy is coming YEAH!!!! Alissa (DD and her DH may be coming and I'm bringin 2 friends from Portland with me too! Oh- I think maybe Molly and her Mom might be there??
