How do you dress for California Grille?

Going to MK and straight from the park, will go to CG?

Is MK park attire OK at CG?

You will see everything from park attire to "casual dressy" at the CG.

When I go I tend to dress up a bit, especially on a Friday or Saturday night, but park attire is ok. There may be some rules against skimpy attire (tank tops, short shorts). Others will add comments to the thread.

When I made my most recent reservation, they definitely gave some dress restrictions - something like no tank tops - but we always dress to fit whatever it was, so I promptly forgot exactly what she said. The only time I ate there, we changed first, into long pants, but nothing fancy. If I couldn't change, I would wear my "better" park clothes, like maybe a nicer t-shirt (without writing on it) and a nicer pair of shorts. My husband would probably wear a collared shirt that day. It's not particularly fancy though and you can absolutely come straight from the park. You might want to call to check on those restrictions.

We were told the same restrictions about the tank tops etc. I wore a sleeveless cotton dress and my husband wore a polo with khakis. I saw other people in shorts and tshirts. I'm really not into dressing up but I'm glad that we did make the effort, when you are spending that much for dinner, it seemed more worthwhile!

The only true "restrictions" are no bathing suits, and tank-tops for men. And many have reported seeing men w/ tank-tops at CG.
They will tell you it's "resort casual" or "smart casual".
WE usually go in nice walking shorts and our new Disney T's. You'll see others like that and others dressed as the other posters have suggested.
Basically, it's your choice. Decide how you'll feel most comfortable and then don't even give it further thought!!

last week i called to make reservations for CG and the woman told me the dress code is "smart casual"
