yesterday and it is due by October 29th. The Disney Visa representative told me that they had been swamped with orders for the new "card". I told him I went ahead and ordered mine now as I was afraid they may run low or late with them. He said that was a good idea as they didn't expect this many to be ordered. He also clarified that you have to use 20 to get the card intially but can have the rest of your balance (as long as it is over 10) transferred over at anytime.

several people on the Rewards board have reported being able to get the card at DTD or at Guest Relations. Supposedly there are phones available right there to call Bank One and get your rewards transfered over immediately.

I ordered mine online on October 3rd. It says the estimated ship date was October 9th and the estimated date of arrival is October 23rd. I ordered as much as possible but still left $10 so I can make sure I have enough to transfer after the next statement. Then I'll transfer the rest over. We leave November 8th so I'm glad I ordered the card now. ::yes::

I received the card today in the mail. You have to call to activate it and it takes all of 10 seconds to do. Pretty cool. So, in all it took 11 days to get here from the day I called.

:yo-yo:
Call me dumb, but I am understanding that you can order your reward card and add to it at any time afterward? I want to get my card with plenty of time to spare for our trip but have a large purchase that will add $$ after the next billing cycle, I am kind of scared to wait though... If I order now can I call and add the rest right before we go??

According to the brochures sent with my card it states that you can transfer rewards earned anytime afterward as long there are at least 10 rewards. They say just be careful of the expiration date on the card (mine says Dec 2004) so I'm not too worried.

I ordered my card, by phone, on Saturday and it was in today's (Wednesday) mail! Sunday and Monday were "no mail" days, so it really only took two business day!::MickeyMo

I tried to order my Disney Rewards 7 days before I was to leave for Disney. Bank One told me that the only way to get my Disney Rewards in time was to go to DTD Guest Relations, they would issue me the card and then I would have to call Bank One so they could tranfer over my Disney Rewards to the card. I somehow managed to forget about my rewards while I was there so I'm not really sure if it would work..
