Called Portifino Inn....got Residence Inn Anaheim-Garden Grove....Oppinions?

I need oppinions of this Residence Inn....it wasn't even on my list of hotels I was checking out.....BUT
I was actually calling the Portifino Inn & Suites collecting info when the reservationist on the phone referred me to the Residence Inn Anaheim. She said it was a sister resort. She offered me a 2 bedroom suite/ with kitchen. One bedroom has a king...one has 2 bunks...and there is a pull out sofa in the living area. Also breakfast free everyday and free parking.....all for the price of $149.... after I mentioned my entertainment card. Sounds great!!
I decided to go ahead and put a hold on it and then I would hang up and come to check it out on line. It looks nice but looks CAN be deceivng.
Anyway....while I was checking for photos I found a place to check my reservation.....so I put in my ressie number and nothing came up So I called the Residence Inn and I was told I did not have a reservation and she has no idea why Portifino would call them a sister resort. She told me the room I thought i booked sells for $189 and has no discounts..... She said there is no way the portifino can sell me a room for less than she can.

So disappointed and angry...I called the Portifino back to find out what was going on and the reservationist informed me to calm down and that yes I do have THAT room at THAT rate.
She did explain it to me but I really didn't understand her...something about franchise and owners and what not
Bottom line....I do have the 2 bedroom suite with free breakfast everyday and free parking It'll be in the system by tomorrow.
BUT NOW I need oppinion on this place....I don't trust the pictures on line. I DO TRUST YOU GUYS!!

And if any of you need a suite and you want it for less....call the Portifino and tell them to book you the Residence Inn

There is a Residence Inn in Anaheim very close to the parks and a Residence Inn in Garden Grove that is farther away. Try checking both.

It is the Marriot Residence Inn Garden Grove on S. Harbor. It is fairly new. At first I wasn't aware that there were 2 hotels with those similar names and I found it quite confusing

Anyway...most reviews I have read were pretty good but I'm just not sure I want to spend that much, even though it is a 2 bedroom suite w/kitchen and living area.

I found the Ramada Plaza has a room with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa for $89 plus $8 parking = $97.
For 9 nights...that $50 difference adds up. But on the other hand...at 9 nights I could use the extra room...not mention the free breakfast.

Some days I feel like splurging and other days I feel like I can save so much and still be well off
