The front desk said they are cleaning the facade and they are almost done. She said it would not intrude in any way on resort guests in their rooms. Also nothing is being done in the lobby. We'll see in 6 days!

I was told the same thing via e-mail from the Concierge staff at the Beach Club. Keep us posted!!!

Hey Cass - I was wondering what took you so long to post on this thread! Hope you get off on your trip ok! Look for a Mom with one whiny DH and three whiny kids lagging behind complaining about the heat, that will be me. Also two grandparents, one in a scooter. I'll have the big goofy straw hat on with a bandana tied around it. Maybe I'll see you around SAB. I don't do the green ribbon thing! Done it too many times, feel like a goof and never meet anyone.

We will be there on Sunday, I was starting to get a bit nervous, second guessing myself and worrying that there may be to much noise for my DD's naps. But we love the BC so we had decided to wait and see, if we are unhappy we will see about changing resorts. Any way we just love WDW and we refuse to let anything ruin our vacation.

I just came back from WDW (stayed at the Dolphin)! We walked past the Yacht And Beach Club a lot and noticed there was still work going on. All the scalfolding was up as of yesterday (Friday, August 15th) that was there the day we arrived (Sunday, August 10). I doubt this helps any of you though because I couldn't really tell if they had already painted/were still painting/hadn't started yet.

we're fresh back from the BC. We stayed by the Quiet Pool so scaffolding was no intrusion for us. I never noticed any noise from that area as we walked by it many times everyday on our way to the pool, lobby, etc. I wouldn't worry about it. You'll have a terrific time!

Was there today - LOTS of scaffolding. All over volleyball area and back porch w/rockers not there - everything boarded over. Quiet pool area looks wonderful - all completed at that end.
