We are flying Delta BOS to MCO in early November. When Delta announced their flight reductions in September, I called to check on my flights, and was told that both flights were fine.
Yesterday I double checked on the Delta website and found out that my flights no longer exist! So I called Delta. I was told that they are notifying people of changes about 1 week from departure (this means that you won't find out that you've been changed until the last minute unless you check yourself). They had rebooked me on a later flight out of Boston that would get us into MCO too late to even have a fun dinner!
BUT - they had space on an earlier flight that did not have space when I made my reservations in July, and were happy to change us to that flight! So now we are getting in earlier than we had planned (early enough to hit MK!).
Moral of the story - check on your flights NOW. If they've rebooked you on a flight you don't like, you may be able to change it. If you wait until they call you to tell you, that may not be an option.
