Call on your wait list....

We were placed on a wait list for the last day of our vacation in March. We are staying at AKV from the 8-15th and the last day was unavailable for us to have the one bedroom, so we were going to have to do two studios for the last day...(5ppl traveling) Anyways, when I booked the woman told me I could call as sometimes the wait list "slips through" the system. I called today and we got our room for the last night of our stay! I am so happy, I was kinda dreading packing up a day before we had to leave, thinking it would make the trip seem shorter. Anyways ppl may already know this but CALL MS if you are on a Wait list to ck for availability! She placed me on hold and came back about 5 minutes later telling me she was able to "get confirmation"....Good LUCK!

We have not been members long, but I have always thought the same thing. I have read too many times that people called MS and they got what they waitlisted for. Congrats!!!

We will be there March 8 to 15 as well at OKW. Originally when I booked I could only get the first 5 nights at OKW and had to change to SSR for the last two, but it appears from an e-mail confirmation I received a few weeks ago that our waitlist for the last two nights at OKW came through. So Yay for both of us!

Ironically, not only will we be there at the same time, but I'm 23 weeks pregnant. Thinking this is going to be a laid back trip for me at 32 weeks along. Also, our first time "home". I wanted to fit in a trip before baby or else I knew it'd be a long wait before our next trip probably when baby is twoish.

Congratulations-I just called MS for my waitlist for AK for March 14th. Unfortunately, still on the wait list. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will come through so we do not have to move.

No, we don't know. It'll be a surprise! I think boy though, and my DH thinks girl. Looks like another boy for you. I'm ready for another boy...thinking boys are easier.

I have had pretty good luck with my waitlist. On a trip in June had to waitlist the last day of 7 day trip for VGC. Told CM that is ok and hung up. Checked my email 3 hours later and got a confirmation that my trip was all set. That is some pretty fast waitlist service! Makes me a believer of the
