If you are in an all or nothing position on the days you need for your waitlist then calling does not appear to increase your chances significantly. If you are willing to pick up a day or 2 at a time calling is very valuable since it greatly increases your odds of eventually getting you reservation.
MS told me to call every few days to check on other options... because I am on a waitlist for a particular type of room (savanah view) and would be willing to take ANY one bedroom. I wouldn't worry about it if you are set on a particular category/room. If you have some flexibility I'd call periodically.
Hi, You may also want to call and check just to make sure that your waitlist is CORRECT. When I called yesterday to try and add on a day I discovered that the weekend I had on CASH and I was supposed to be WAITLISTED for, WAS NOT!! In fact the first CM that I spoke with was very confused about room types(2 bedrooms) at the BCV and she was making ME confused. So I asked to be transfered to another CM that helped me figure it all out. And the weekend that I had wanted to be waitlisted for was AVAILABLE!! So I booked it, and I am now waiting for my 4 other nites I waitlisted for to come through. Joan
Oh the debate...... I must say I have called every day , with no luck.
I have called everyday and more than once that I have checked my waitlist and have been told...."oh wait yes there it is!!" says a happy lil cast member!!
